I toyed with this idea earlier, use a thick book or magazine and hide the paper inside and put the book/mag in a bag or box

Did final check and everything is purchased, wrapped and stockings are ready to go. I am never been ready this early. I guess it helps that there are not kids still at home

Try rice or beans or mac & cheese. You could also do a pasta salad or put soup in the crock pot or a couple different soups to simmer all day.

I had to stop putting tags on things as my kids one year got up early and divided up the gifts and rearranged everything before I could get pictures. I had to start marking their packages with initials hidden in the paper designs so they could not do that anymore. Although a couple of times I stumped myself.

I used to put one thing from me and all the presents to others under the tree before Christmas. All others were from Santa and showed up Christmas morning

I just purchased another order last night and used my Kohls cash with no problems. The original Kohls cash came from on line orders

We did gifts until Junior High. After that only to a teacher my DS had a special bond with. That teacher even came to his high school graduation.
