I decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving. DH is to obsessive to let it go up sooner.

I have a Christmas club savings account that rolls over each 11/1. That is what I have to spend on BF and Christmas. Still that does not mean I do not go over, but if I do, it is usually a good deal on something for myself or the household that we need or can use soon.

Looking for Kohls and Best Buy. Leaving on a 4 day cruise on Saturday so you know something good will leak while I am gone.

We have an older model that needs replacing soon. Only my DH uses it for a single cup daily and sometimes I will brew some Hot Chocolate. It works great and no problem with pouring water in for each cup. We have used the Kcups and the my Kcup and each works well. I think they would be great gifts.

I started going around 1996 when I was a single mom with 2 kids. My mom would watch the kids and I would go for the deals to get as much for as little as possible. Loved the friendly atmosphere of waiting in line and sharing ads until the stores opened and the free gifts you got.

Since the stores started opening on Thanksgiving and I refuse to give up family time, I am doing more online. I still go out after family time is over but it is not as fun as it used to be

Guilty as charged. Usually I buy things for the house like sheets, towels, etc because the prices are great. Also winter stuff is at good prices and usually in good supply so I have lots of choices. I also, look for others at the same time so it's not all about me.

I usually also do the hunt on after Christmas sales for things like fun little toys or goofy gifts that you can use to stuff stockings with at half price

I have not run into rude people as well. It is the line jumpers that annoy the heck out of me (especially the ones that pretend they don't realize they are doing it). Most everyone is out to have a good time and get the deals. The problems they show on TV are really far from the norm.
