We still send Christmas cards. Ours are hand made (hubby is an artist and I scrapbook). But yeah, every year there are fewer and fewer cards that show up in the mail.

I broke down today. I couldn't hold it in any more. I finally finished sewing Halloween costumes last weekend. So next projects are Christmas, so it seemed appropriate to start listing to Christmas music!!

I like the #1 and #2. Not a huge fan of the orange shirts. I like the blue with orange text.

This happened at the mall we went to as well. Teenagers just hanging out. No packages, no shopping, just getting in the way and hanging out. I thought most towns had curfews. Up in Novi we have curfews if you are under a certain age. At the Great Northern Mall in Ohio there were teenagers everywhere. Made that part of my shopping evening very annoying.

Do they usually put games up online for sale? I really want the Dance Party 3 for the Wii, but I will probably be in line at JcPenny when the sale starts. Curious if I can buy it online over my phone to still get the deal.

I haven't seen Micheal's or JoAnn's Ads yet. Does Hobby Lobby do a BF sale?

This is my first year that I will not be at home. So I will be shopping in Amherst, OH (and surrounding areas, since it's such a small town!)

I have decided to buy my blue ray player separate from my surround system. I've gone through all the ads, but I'm not seeing any surround systems without dvd player or blue ray players. I just want the receiver and speakers. Anyone seen any good deals on these?

Ordered my Blue ray player. One less thing to stand in line for on BF. :) I didn't care about the netflix, since I have both a wii and an xbox, if I want to do netflix.

They are advertising an LG Blue Ray player for $65. That better then their BF sales. Anyone have any clue what time I should get there by? The sale starts at 6am. Looks like Walmart has a Philips Blue-ray surround for $198 on BF. I'm going to have to do some research to see if's a decent system.

It really depends on your Target store. Mine handed out tickets about an hour before the store opened. I was actually in line at 2am, I was probably 30-40th in line. If you had a ticket you got the 32" tv or 40" or whatever your ticket was for. Those were not placed out on the sales floor. You took your ticket to the customer service counter when you paid for your purchase and got your item. So I had my ticket for my tv before the store was open. That way I could dash through the store to get my other items. Then stood in the customer service line and paid for everything at once. I would recommend calling your Target once they closer to BF to see how they are handling it.

I will go out this year, but I will probably be spending less. There are only a few things on my list that are even in the ads.

We decorate Thanksgiving weekend. I start listening to Christmas music as soon as Halloween is over, cause that's when I start making our Christmas cards (takes awhile to make 80 hand-made cards).
