ours found the purple and blue ones at walmart.. I do NOT think they are worth $50... BUT it's the ONLY thing so far that she has asked for.... soooooo it's on layaway at kmart lol.. but i am hoping that Amazon will do a price drop and i'll be able to snag one up for cheaper and just return the other one. Amazon does have it down to $39.xx already thought about buying it since it IS$10 cheaper.. but thinking it still might drop a little more, maybe! lol

We actualy liked it...... Maybe its the difference of being in a smaller town, I dunno. We got there about 10, they had things set up around the store( towells, games,movies,dishes, clothes etc all the small BF items) people were shopping early by putting it into their buggies with most items, and everyone seemed fine. But closer it got to "time" the employees were asking people to stop getting things early to just stand beside it and wait( now that didn't make much sence) seeing how everyone was doing just fine but once they started trying to enforce something people became a little pushy and antsy lol. they did need to inform the employees a little better so that everyone would know where to send people for different lines, but for the most part everyone was figuring it out and was waiting in lawn chairs in line for things lol Only thing that got out of hand was the one video stand they had covered up( which were the DS games) once they pulled the cover off i thought people were going to lose arms and heads being pushed and shoved and knocked around that was the craziest part!

me too, there is always a few things i find that i'd like to get.

Anyone think that Amazon will do a Price dip on the Fijits? I see that they are already down to $39.xx which is $10 cheaper than the stores already. I'm hoping i can catch one on sale with Amazon and then return the one i have on lay away at Kmart lol

Amazon has the dvd set of the Wizard of Oz movie on sale for $5.49 just thought i'd throw that in there : )

Was scanning thur the radio stations in the car the other day and BOOM, heard CHRISTMAS Music playing.. that started it for me.. can't wait for GOOD deals( GREAT deals would be even better) this year. I don't have much of anything bought early this year like years in the past, so we need deals deals deals! wow a year sure does fly by FAST!

I did look at some of the "pocket" cameras.. it looks like the Sony flip camera hd touch doesn't take still photos( if i read it right). I'd like to be able to use one machine for both photos and video, if possible. You are right it does look sleek, and sharp tho. I have looked so much lately that my eyes look like this:eyepoppin after trying to figure everything out that the new camcorders have to ofer and how to get them to "work" lol I'm afraid that once i get one, i won't be able to download it to a computer and burn it to a DVD easy enough, as i don't have a clue what i'm doing. lol anyone know if it's pretty easy to do? I guess we'd record maybe 10 mins at a time.. up to 45 mins at a time maybe... thanks BellaVita for the advice!.. may have to look at the flip cams too.

does anyone have a camcorder that walmart currently sells? If so, can you tell me a little about it ? do you like it? is it easy to put to dvd? is the sound good? anyone?

ok, so we are going to crawl out from under our rock and finaly buy a new camcorder. the one that we have is the kind that still uses the vcr tapes( i know i know don't laugh too hard)LOL. SO we are LOST when it comes to all this up to date stuff. I have been looking on wally worlds site at a few, but i realy don't what i need to look for and such. I'd like one that takes video and also still pictures. I read where if you are recording and you pause it, once you try to download the video it makes alot of short videos instead of just one... is that true? if so i realy dont like that, and how would i stay away from that feature? any help, i'd thank yall. this is the one i was looking at, because i read where you can record up to 12 hours on built in memory??!! but, after looking at youtube at it it seems REAL small... what do yall think? http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sony-DCR-SX63/13396311

Okay, we have had a change of plans for one of our get togethers. So now I need to come up with a few "finger food" type things to bring. There is already going to be a cheeseball, and cocktail weiners w/ BBQ sauce also hotwings and finger sandwhiches. What other type things can I make?
