I was in walmart this morning, but wasn't back at the video games. I'll have to make a trip again this week to see if i can find any. Thanks!( they have a DS also, so that would be great!)

Thanks for the info, and suggestions. I guess it's just me, but I can't see spending a whole lot on each game. Thankfully, our kids don't know about all the "popular" new games. They will play just about anything. We try to pick up mostly used games, because of the huge price cut. I have ordered a few from amazon( under 10 dollars each) this year. The deal peppysfireball said that their walmart has going on for $5.00 would be great! I will keep looking for bargins, and sales. This site is great and very helpfull.

We bought a set just like these last year for our kids for christmas. it is a Great price, but it does not play well at all. if we'd lay the dvd ploayer down flat it would sometimes play, but it still took a long time to even come on. Once it was in the upright position all it would do was click click click and never play the movie. we tried 2 sets, and then just gave up.

The kids got a wii for christmas last year. This year I'd like to get them a few more games. I just don't see paying 30, or 40 dollars for a game. Does anyone think Amazon, or walmart will have a big sale on any wii games this year? I have seen a few games so far on Amazon for 10.00. Do yall think that will be the best price for games this year?

I agree with you, I don't think it's worth the 20 bucks. But... I went ahead and caved, just because this was something he asked for last christmas, and then again this year. We do have a Freds store, no TRU or other "big" named stores except walmart/kmart nearby.I did find it on Amazon... but I'd sure like to find it for only $20. Well, no luck as of yet. But maybe closer to the holiday shoping season I will find one. Checked Cvs, walgreens, walmart/kamrt, dollar general ,belks, and a few stores online( that were sold out) A lady told me today that she saw one at JCP.. sooooo I'll be looking there.

Oh wow this sounds SO fun for the kids, and So very cute! I never even thought about anything like this. How many nights do you do this for? And does the elf leave a gift every night? How did this come about? ( did you tell her it was from a elf? or did he leave a note?) this is just too cute! lol
