The Angel tree at my husbands office is up. Woohoo! He said I could choose 4 gift recipents now and then more in two weeks. (he thinks I should let everyone else have a chance to pick names too) All of tags have "Educational Books, Toys and Clothes" listed along with their gender and age. There are no specific toy suggestions. We purchased a bunch of toys during Targets 75% off toy clearance. One of the toys is a Hannah Montana Miley and Jake doll set (similar to Barbie and Ken) I've picked up other Hannah Montana stuff too, to go with the dolls. My question is, is Hannah Montana okay for a 5 year old girl? I have read that some parents are giving Hannah Montana stuff to their girls, but I just wanted to double check with all the Moms on the forums. Thank you!

The bottom of the boots on the outside are wearing down. I've worn down the traction on the front and back of my shoes. I can wear them when I run a quick errand, but any longer and I am quite sore. I'm not sure if new insoles will help. Other than the soles the rest of the boots are in great shape.

Which gift set?

I've had my Classic Tall Chestnut Uggs for almost 4 years and they have held up great, but now my feet are getting a bit sore and I need to get a new pair. I know sales on Uggs are rare and that most coupon codes for stores do not apply to Uggs, but I am trying to be optimistic. Have you seen any Uggs deals or coupons? Please let me know. Thank You!

So i don't buy stuff like that anymore. I can't stand waste.

Bath and Body Works has mini antibacterial gels for $1 Check out Marshals and TJ Maxx. They have a beauty section and they put items on clearence for very good prices. Maybe even put in a pretty wash cloth or hand towel and a cute nail file.

I went to BBW yesterday and bought the grey robe ( I didn't see the online deal until afterwards) I also picked up the Coconut Lime Verbena body lotion for $5.00 and the Holiday lotion trio for $5.00 (stocking gifts). I bought the Large/X Large robe, the very helpful sales associate, said that it is longer and better for snuggling on the sofa with some tea when it is cold! I used the $10.00 off coupon (thanks for the link!) and recieved the $10.00 gc and another coupon for $10 off a $30 purchase!!! Wonder if I can use them together;) I tried on the robe and now I told my DH that I would like one too! Thank you for all of your help! I told my Mom and my DH that You all helped me decide to buy the Sweetest, Softest Robe and they think it is very cool that you all helped. THANK YOU!!!

Thank you everyone! I am convinced that this is the Bathrobe to get! Now I have to decide what color to get for her. I picked up a tea set at Pier 1 yesterday, Tea Pot, two mugs and a serving dish in white for $9.98. The Tea set is going to go with the bathrobe and most likely a few pairs of the Sweetest, softest socks at BBW and a Tazo tea sampler from Starbucks. I'll have to get the $10 coupon.

Marshalls and TJ Maxx have had a lot of cute dresses lately.

Seems like it is easier for them to re-sell previously opened boxes. Interesting point. Never thought about that.

Today I recieved a Target reciept coupon for $5.00 off a $50.00 purchase! Very cool! Last week I recieved one for $5.00 off a $50.00 grocery purchase. They are good until December 31, 2008

It sounds like you have a good handle on what you are going to do. Do you have friends or family that you can ask to help you find certain gifts. You could give them a list of items you are looking for and when they see it at a good price they could call and let you know. It can be difficult to find deals and save money especially at the holidays when you are working and have a family to take care of. Also make a list of what you are going to get for everyone and vow to stick to it. I know it is easier said then done, but it is amazing how much more I can spend when I don't have a list. How many people do you buy gifts for? Can you cut back on the list or on the amount you spend for each person. I hope the holidays are less stressful for you and you are able to enjoy them with out feeling overwhelmed. Have a great day!

We set a price limit, well I set the limit. He likes to spoil me, and I love that he enjoys shopping for me, but if he had his way he would spend way too much!!!

I see Coach bags at Marshals and TJ Maxx all the time. Good prices and I think they still do layaway.
