  5. It says exclusive sale for 2 hours only Nov 9th. Anyone go to this for reward zone members? I am curious if this is really a good deal or what they normally have at the sale
  6. I think the difference may be the one at TRU has all the furniture , but double check that I could be wrong. I took the WM one with site to store and figured I can get the furniture here and there. the pieces I bought are around the 10.00 -12.00 I think. I think its more cost effective to do it thru WM. Let family members get her the rooms for Xmas birthday what ever.
  7. I heard that the lights on prelite trees don't really last long 1-2 years and then you need to change the lights on it etc etc. My dh will still not buy a prelite tree it drives me nuts I told him then he can put all those lights on it from now on...he said , that's fine.GRRRRRR
  8. I actually did the doll house from WM with site to store and the bonus pack worked out great. took about a week to get but it was worth it to me. If you go through TRU then yu have shipping to deal with as well unless you have a code or something.
  9. I purchased for this Xmas 3 DS Lites. my kids are 6,9, and 12. I was going to get my 12yo a PSP but decided not to after hearing how they don't have a big selection of games out now and they don't have many in the future at this point. Seems like the Ds is a better way to go for your childs age.
  10. Can you imagine if there was not going to be any specials????? I know , I know I was kidding. I think they are going to all dump on us at 1 time! I know what you mean about getting kinda boring without any really good ads.
  11. I have had to put things in my sons closet after all. Seems that is the safest place , I just wish it was bigger. I have to hide the bigger boxes someplace else which I am working on.
  12. I just did this weekend with there things to funny! I am taking it to a resale place and leaving it see if i can get anything for it.
  13. I will have to chek some of those out. I went today to get the Kit Movie and found the 80's version of some Xmas songs stuff my kids would like it was 9.99. I played it in the car and it seems pretty good, its the stuff my kids would like so I know that will be a hit for them thanks for those tips next time I am out I will have to see what I can find
  14. anyone have any suggestions? I see there are alot of the out there and I am not sure what to grab. I tried the NOW Xmas cd but most of the singers really did nothing for me with the song they sang. Maybe I am picky?
  15. I have one for each of my kids and they each will have a game also. I think my kids are about done now, maybe a couple more things but the bigger stuff is done.
  16. I actually offered to do it for a friend of mine. She can never go she is a radio DJ and will be broadcasting live that day. I told her to make a list and I will see what I can do, she said she will give me something for it but we never went any further. I figured she can not help it she can not get out and shop on this day. She laughed when I told her I am one of those 4am people, she said all you early risers for this day are crazy. I said I know aren't we!
  17. what commercial and what sale....please do tell us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. I lost my step dad in 1996 and my mom in 2000 ( my bio dad well no lose there). My mom and I were sooo close . I can tell you it does get easier on some level, however its 8 years later and its still hard. I used to not want to celebrate ANYTHING because she was gone. Dh would keep things going putting up the tree at Xmas, making turkey dinner etc I came around so to speak. I decided I need to do things we would normally do because she would be very disappointed in that I stopped celebrating because she was not PHYSICALLY with us. It is very hard but I know even when I don't FEEL up to it its whats best. My dds 9 and 6 have seen my moms spirit here at our house were she died so I know she is with us and that helps ME as well
  19. how do you go about adopting a family for the holidays and always buying for them. I think this would be great to do
  20. this is taking forever! We are going out of town for a football game this weekend, I am thinking one will show up then just because I am gone and that is my luck normally.
  21. I have bought some things here and there. I am really fustrated with dd who is 6 though! I got her the Tag system she is in 5k at school. Well she now wants the didj system and I saw they only had 2 on the shelf at Target with the 10.00 giftcard. I picked it up when she was with , and had a checker ring it up without her knowing. Well now I am torn if either are a good idea. I figured I can purchase both and return what I don't want. I think she lost interest in the Tag system :no:when she got her little hands on the didj :confused:system ! Well I saw a few people who commented those Didj systems are similar to Nitendo DS , now I think I need to return them both and get a Nintendo DS. Anyone know if this Didj is really worth getting or is the Ds a better idea.
  22. Well I was able to get some things in the closet in my sons room. he cleaned it out for me the other day:yup:. his sister asked him if he was sick or something;). he said no he just needed to get rid of old things that was all. Later he said, OK lets haul it up in my room before she finds something else! So he has his sisters doll house furniture in there right now, and Yo Gabba Gabba dance mat. I have plenty of room in there for a little while but not long we are talking a VERY small closet.
  23. It really does depend on the child. My ds who is 12 he went last year and was fun to have with me! he was able to get things that I could not get to. He would squeeze his way by no problem for me. He loved going never complained he kept asking what next ? he enjoyed the thrill of the hunt, the crowds all that as much as me and my girlfriend. He asked how much longer until WE can go again. NOW on the flip side my dd who is 9 she is not going ( still a believer) but she is the type to complain how cold she is, her feet are tired she is hungry etc etc. She will not be going until that stage is over and because I know her so well it will not be anytime soon I don't think :) Another option is maybe you can find a girl who wants to go shopping but is willing to watch your son. bring her along have her keep a eye on him while you cruise the aisles. Pay her decently of coarse. they get to do what they want and you get to do what you want and your sons needs will be met. She can maybe stay in a warm car with him early in the morning while your in a store. If there was something she wanted you can grab it for her maybe. Just a idea
  24. You don't mention if you know for sure they recieved them....but I have a short story to tell you. My brother and I are not really on talking terms have not been for a while. Many years ago he told my dad he sent me something and never recieved a response. I told my dad I never got anything so how do I thank someone when I don't have it and have no idea what was sent to me????? I lived in a apt with about 6 other tenants, I guess the package would of been left in the hall way. Well I never did get the gift he said he sent, and he was mad at me for not thanking him. We don't talk now for more then the reason of the gift being sent. This was the FIRST time he sent me something in the mail that I am aware of. I agree they should be thanking you , however do you know for sure it was recieved by them? Maybe just mail a gift to the kids and have it signed for with a confirmation then you know now one picked it that walked by.
  25. I have heard that is REALLY messy. The job to clean it up is a pain in the neck on one hand they others say its not so bad. I am opting for the playdoh that feels like sand is IN IT. Less mess.
