Haven't watched it yet, but willing to bet it's quality. I stumbled across Appleseed ExMachina and Ocean's Twelve in blu-ray (around Christmas time?) for the same type of markdown (75% off) and both were outstanding. I'm surprised every time I see them marked down so low. They always have the long red/white "as is" stickers, but still factory wrapped with all the advertisements still attached to the outside. Maybe internet returns? Regardless, they are still cheaper than standard dvd and look great on the big screen! What did these look like?

Found the Domos dressed like bunny and duck. Also, hot wheels, zubber, play doh bunny basket, whiffle ball 4pk, MLP, Disney princess pack, light up jump ropes, hershey kisses, hershey eggs, Sponge Bob back pack clip w/candy, Sponge Bob cars. Also heard that the Colony store had loads left as of yesterday afternoon.

I vividly remember my local Target not having any of the Easter items marked 50% until around noon (the day after Easter) last year. That was maddening, and it was the only time I'd ever experienced holiday markdowns not happening right at opening. There were a handful of faithful after holiday shoppers and we were all like deer caught in headlights. Funny, now that I think about it . . . but in the heat of the hunt, definitely a hair puller.

The Beauty of Essence bags are marked down to $4.99 from $14.99 (Patent Leather Quilted Tote bag contains: 2 oz body mist, 2 oz hand cream, velour travel pillow and cosmetic bag). My store had a ton of these over the holidays and couldn't move them. I think they'll have better luck now! Also, got the Glad Scented Oil Holiday Holder (these were also left over from the holidays but never got marked clearance with all the other stuff) for .38 (orig 3.79) AND there were $2 off MQ inside! $3.41 MM!! Expiration dates for candy were all in 2010. Great day at CVS!!

Disposable cameras (Spongebob pictured on front) marked down 50%, can't remember price (under $5).

Got Walmart to price match TRU $24.99 for the blu ray, but when I handed them my $10 off coupon, the clerk got all twitchy and had to call a manager. I asked what the problem was and she said that the printed internet coupons were often fake and she had to get a manager to approve it. The Asst Manager comes over and tells me it's a copy. I told him how incorrect he was and that I got it straight from the Disney web site and there was no way it was a copy. He kept telling me it wasn't "in color" (I had printed in black and white) so needless to say I had to show my tail and he finally called the Manager who asked if it even scanned, the Asst Manager says "I dunno" and tries, well sure enough it goes right through and I get my blu ray. What an ordeal! Any way, thanks for this post. I'm grateful for the $10 back in my pocket!

I decided to call CS after reading this and was told in no uncertain terms that rainchecks are to be honored at ANY CVS regardless of what promotion is attached to the product. The CS rep told me that she would personally call the store and inform them that they were wrong and to accept the raincheck. I went in this morning, picked up the packages of heat pads (they were in the Feb ECB book) and all the coupons that were attached to the front of the packages were gone!! I was just in the store yesterday (when they said "no" to redeeming the raincheck) and the $1 off coupons were on every package. So "someone" pulled off all the coupons . . . hmmmm. Anyway, I confronted the manager, and she said she didn't know anything about the coupons, but didn't say one word when I gave her the raincheck. She rang up the pads as "free" (they were 3.99 minus the 3 ECBs that would have printed and minus the $1 off coupon that was suppose to be attached to the product.) So I was happy, but definitely got the cold shoulder at checkout. It was almost silly. Thank you for this post!! What a great deal!

I was in the Super Target in North Garland (off George Bush turnpike) on Saturday evening, and they had TONS of heaters left at 75% off. Saw several different models, the small ceramic ones for 7.xx all the way up to some really large ones (didn't look at those prices). They were on end caps and down an isle in the home improvement area. Good Luck!

Does anyone know the rule for redeeming rainchecks? On the back it states that the rainchecks are valid at ANY CVS, but today when I tried to redeem a raincheck for an item that was part of the ECB deal for February, the clerk said that if the raincheck is tied to an ECB item, I have to redeem the raincheck at the store that issued it. Is that true?

Expiration dates are 4/2010. I'm a fruit about expiration dates. I don't buy anything that's even close unless I know I'm going to use it right away. It helps keep my out of pocket down too when I run across the 75% off deals on chocolates and baking kits after the holidays! I had to use all my willpower to NOT buy every pack of Red Velvet Cupcakes, Wonka Cupcake kits and bags/boxes of chocolate . . . ok, that was more about me not wanting to buy bigger jeans, but still took loads of willpower!!
