It is only a $40 GC with the 32 GB model. At least here it was. I decided to bite the bullet and get the 32GB because with the GC it was only a $50 difference in price. Still a good deal, but would have been better with the 8 GB.

It is usually included with the wireless controllers you buy that include the battery. :) It is called a charge and play cable IIRC.

You do need the rechargable batteries in order to use the charging cable. The AA batteries need to be replaced when they wear out. :)

That is indeed for real. YOU are the controller. lol 7 feet should be fine. Mine is on a TV stand which is about 3 feet tall and it is a 60" tv so it is pretty big. What size room are you playing in? You MAY need to get the new zoom for Kinect if it is a small room. Have fun! :)

They make a mount that will go on top of the tv for the kinect. My kids love microsoft points, you can download games, map packs, etc with them. Honestly I think 2 controllers should be enough, remember target has a $10 coupon in the toy book for those. :) The Kinect itself is a controller for the Kinect games. If you buy a new wireless controller, it will come with a charger wire. I don't remember if it comes with one, but one cable should be enough. Don't forget the games! Lots of fun ones!

I had a package with smartpost that was at my post office for over a week! I went there 3 times to check on it and the last time I told the supervisor I needed the package. I ordered early for Christmas so I can not be stressed. I don't need it to be either lost or not the right item, just sitting at the post office. The supervisor told me it was 3rd class mail and they don't have time to sort it with all the extra holiday mail! At least I got my package, and in plenty of time for Christmas!

I had that issue last year with Walmart too. They would up letting me keep the gift card and returning the video game system. It did take a long time though.

You might have him bring it to an apple store. They may give him a discount upgrade. I know when my son smashed his iPhone, they offered to replace it for $199, which was much less than a full price replacement. Doesn't hurt to try if you have one in the area.
