My MIL works at Babies R Us and says this is a hot toy this year. They cannot keep them in stock. Come to think of it, I haven't seen any on the shelves at any store lately, but did see them in stock on Amazon.com. What a nice gift to get for that little boy. :)

My sister in law uses it. Works well. :) I also have a couple of friends who use it with no issues.

There was one around here for $10 off a $10 purchase. I'll see if I can find it. Post Here it is. :)

I saw them at Sears. DH tried them on and they did not work. He uses a Droid, and I use an iPhone, it did not work with either. YMMV of course, but you might want to test them out before purchasing them. :) I wanted to get some for DS and DH for xmas! Glad I tested them first. Edited to add: They were the isotoner ones.

I went to Target today, didn't find much, but picked up a couple of games on clearance. When I checked out though, I got a coupon. $8 off any $80 purchase! So, keep an eye out for those coupons! :) I did use my redcard, and not sure if that is what triggered it.

I tried to return an iPod touch once. They would not return it. Good luck to you, I hope you have a better experience than I did.

I ordered the iphone headphones from them. I think they are the real thing. They look exactly like the apple ones, and sound great. My little entrepreneur (DS16) has asked me to place another order, so he can sell them at school. lol

Apply in store and get a little slip you can use right away. :)

I bought them once, but I don't remember the brand. I ordered them online, and they were very tiny when I got them. I threw them out at the end of the season.

Thanks for the ideas so far! :) It is very hard when you don't know anything about the family. I wanted to get Dvds for the girls and the mom, and some popcorn, containers, etc, but not sure if they even have a dvd player. I mean mom is asking for paper towels for Christmas! I love the ideas about pampering her. It really puts things into perspective. I showed my kids and husband the list, and told them they are asking for things we take for granted every day. This economy is tough! I'm glad my family has been able to weather it.

I just got my list from the town for my adopted family and it included a 35 year old mom and her two daughers aged 2 and 4. I was so sad when I read what the mom wanted for her Christmas gift. She asked for toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent. While I plan to get her these items, as she obviously wants or needs them, I'm looking for suggestions on what else she might like. I don't know anything about her other than the information I posted. Thanks for the ideas!

I bought a 50" plasma 3D tv at sears last week for ~$850. It came with 2 free pairs of 3D glasses ($300). There was a promo with a Sears card for an extra 10% off too. Was a great deal! :) I would just keep watching the sales. The PS3's were on sale at Walmart this weekend with a free $50 gift card, but keep watching. I'm sure there will be some great offers coming out!

Remember Walmart has a 15 day return policy on computers! Just wanted to make sure you knew. :)

IME, when you get a gift card with an item, you can either return the gift card with it, or just have them price adjust it to the price you paid minus the gift card. Hope that helps. :)

My town hall does this as well. We adopt a family every year, and I also pick up some toys to give to others that are not in my adopted family. :)
