So the 24 hr walmarts don't close on Thanksgiving day? I always thought they were closed then re-opened for the door busters on BF.

I don't believe it!! It looks like my wish came true. If the Walmart add that is up now is correct it looks like Walmart will have a laptop for $398!!

Another reason I hate them is that you pay the sales tax on the full price before rebates. For lower priced items it may not be a big deal but if it's a $1000 computer for example with $500 in rebates you pay tax on the $1000. In NY that would be an extra $40.

You know what would be awesome? If Walmart had a laptop for a super low price. Chances are there wouldn't be any rebates to deal with which is always a plus. I think this might help them out too because the past couple of years our local Walmart was stilling trying to sell the TV's, DVD Players, VCR's etc that didn't sell well on BF.

I used to buy so much off of Ebay but there are so many scams now and I'm afraid I'm going to be ripped off. What seller did you buy one from?

Genoandkiddo believe me I was not judging anyone. I am sincerely sorry if I came accross that way. I guess I was just taken back by Targets stance but I also admit that I didn't realize that there are some pushy and down right rude SA bell ringers out there. That is uncalled for. And no one should ever feel pressured or guilty for not donating.

Wow I have to say I'm kind of surprised at the responses to my post. First let me say that Salvation Army bell ringers here in upstate New York are always very nice. They NEVER ask for a donation, they say hello and have a nice day or nice evening. If you don't give anything they still smile at you and are still courteous. I guess things are different in differnt parts of the country. P.S. Nice post Ebayordeath.

I found out yesterday that Target is not allowing the Salvation Army anywhere near their stores. The SA is a good cause and the I always try to give some money to each SA bell ringer even if it's only a $1. I will personnally be staying away from Target from now on and I hope others will follow.

I'm still wondering if the price for that is correct. Does anyone know if that price is confirmed?

The 24 hour walmart supercenters are even open on Thanksgiving day? I always assumed that they closed the night before Thanksgiving and re-opened on BF morning at 6:00. So if I go a little farther from my house I won't have to stand outside in the cold. This is good to know.

I hate compusa. Every time I've ever tried to buy something there they have nagged about purchasing an extended warranty. Like non stop. If the first salesman doesn't convince me then he sends another person over to try and convince me to get the warranty. I was told recently that the sales person doesn't get comission unless they sell an extended warranty with any item over $100.
