  1. When does the first even that started on 11/8 end? Is it when the second event starts on 11/22? I couldn't find anything that says when it ends so maybe they haven't announced that yet. There's an item I'm very undecided on that is a good price in the current sale so I'm wondering how long I have.

  3. It really depends on what exactly you're looking for when you say "Android Smart Watch". If you mean a WearOS device then the best available watch right now by far is the Galaxy Watch 4. It's on sale right now on Amazon for $200. There are countless other smart watches that run something other than WearOS for less money such as Amazfit devices.
  4. I noticed that late last night and apparently the deals were available for most of the day yesterday. I tried to purchase the 18' Gorilla ladder for $80 on the last page of the ad and it was out of stock. Since the ad states that the sale starts on the 8th it would be wrong if they didn't have more in stock tomorrow for when the sale was supposed to start.
  5. Yeah I just ordered them from Amazon. I was actually only trying to order them from Walmart first to try to get an idea of how much stock they had because there are two things that I really want on the 11/11 sale.
  6. I tried to get the $99 Airpods. I added them to my cart right at 7:00 and when I went to check out it said they were no longer in stock.
  7. I haven't shopped on Black Friday or BF related day/events in stores or even online in several years and for some reason I seem to have a renewed interest and excitement this year. It might just be out boredom from being stuck in the house for several months due to the pandemic. I have a list of things I'm going to try to get but the two things I want to pick up the most are in the 11/11 Walmart ad: The 55" TCL Smart TV for $148 and the HP Pavilion Horizon Blue laptop for $379. I've actually never done any BF shopping online so I'm wondering compared to Walmart's past online BF sales, what are the chances of actually being able to purchase these items? Is it something where they are sold out by 7:01 PM or will there be a sufficient amount? I know that no one probably knows for sure but I was just wondering how it went previous years online at Walmart for BF sale items. Also how do you find the actual items to buy at the time they go on sale? Will they have a link on their front page?
  8. The Amazon tablets don't have the Google Play store so you'll be limited to the apps in Amazon's app store. There is a way to side load the Google Play store on most Amazon tablets, it's not difficult but it's probably more involved than most non tech people would care to attempt.
  9. The problem with budget Android devices is that they don't have enough RAM which causes them to be slow & laggy. This is especially true with Samsung Galaxy devices because of their Touchwiz UI skin which is a memory hog. If you want a better experience and don't want your tablet to be laggy then look for a tablet that has a minimum 2GB's of RAM.
  10. Thank you for the reply. I guess Walmart still likes to make it difficult to know what can or cannot be purchased online on BF. Other stores seem to have a much clearer policy.
  11. I'm a little confused about when Walmart items will be on sale & online availability. For example I would like to try to purchase the Stanley Wet/Dry Vac for $20 on page 25 of the ad & possibly the $69 Samsung 7" tablet. Will those items likely be available online if I try to purchase them right at 6:00 PM on Wednesday night? I used to love to go to stores to do BF shopping but I just don't have it in me anymore to fight through the crowds.
  12. I was just able to order the Verizon Moto E for $9.99 & the Samsung 32GB microSDHC card for $9.99.
  13. I didn't get to look through all the posted ads but from the one's I've seen there don't appear to be any BFGPS deals. Has anyone seen any?
  14. Is all of the HD ad while supplies last? The 30 pack of AA Duracell batteries on the second to last page is a good deal but unfortunately I won't be able to make it to HD until later in the day.
  15. I don't blame her there, I know my wife would not like the touch screen on the newest Nano's. Those new 6th gen Nano's are big step backwards from the 5th Gen's IMO.
  16. I swear the 8 GB Nano's weren't there when I looked earlier. I'm going to order one now. Thanks for the heads up.
  17. Which one are referring too? Here is the link for the 16 GB Nano.http://store.apple.com/us/product/FC064LL/A?mco=MTkxNTgwNjE&AID=10479833&PID=1418914 And here is the 32 GB & 64 GB Touch. http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/specialdeals/ipod/ipod_touch?mco=MTkyMTYwNjY I wish they had the 8 GB Nano because that's really all my wife would need. Would the 8 GB be cheaper on the refurbished models?
  18. Your right, it's right there on the site as clear as day, 3 and up. How did I miss that? Thanks for pointing that out.
  19. I might pick that up for our nephew, he'd love that. I didn't see a suggested age range though. He's 2.5 and it looks like something he could definitely handle.
  20. For those who say it's junk please keep in mind that with power tools there is a very big difference between using them all day 5 days a week & occasionally using them for projects around the home. I have had no problems with my Skil power tool set that I bought almost 8 years ago. Even the batteries work as well as they did when it was brand new.
  21. I would say check reviews and look at reliability figures of each manufacturer. Consumer Reports has been saying for years that they are a waste of money and I tend to agree. I guess it also depends on how much the warranty costs. In your case I have to say that $159 for BOTH actually seems like a pretty good deal for an extended warranty. For that price I would probably consider it. If it was $159 each then it wouldn't be worth it IMO. I remember Comp USA used to really push extended warranties to the point I wouldn't shop there anymore. One time I was looking at a $600 laptop and they insisted I needed the $300 extended warranty. I couldn't justify paying 50% of the cost of the product for a warranty. To me that would be like buying a $30,000 car and spending $15,000 on an extended warranty. Why you don't need an extended warranty

  24. I think the only one usually missing in the Thanksgiving paper is Walmart. In this area at least it gets mailed to our house a few days before Thanksgiving.
