  1. Amazon is offering this as a holiday lightning deal today @ 11:00 AM est. (I think) you might want to double check the time.

I was just coming to post this :) It is 8:30am EST/11:30am PST. I had not intention of picking it up, but if it is as good a deal as the Club Penguin game was a week or so ago, I will definately get it. My DS7 loves that show. Anyone remember what the price was the last time Amazon had it on sale?

  2. I am in the same boat... I am LOVING the trial period, but I am unsure if I will renew for a full year. I really don't shop online much, except for the holidays. But, I have saved over $200 since 11/25, which is awesome... I am just going to wait and see how much I shop with amazon after the holidays, and if it is worth the $79, I definately will do it. The fast shipping is what's gotten me hooked.
  3. Funny you should ask! I had the same issue with the newer gen ipod touch. Worse that that.. it was my CAR that wouldnt work anymore. My 2009 scion with my fancy dancy ipod upgrades will not charge the 3 or 4gen ipod touches! I was.. we will say, not a happy camper.

So anyhow... I use this site to buy accessories all the time, you shouldnt have an issues finding them here reasonably priced.

Thanks for that site! They have 4g touches now? Wow, now I am not sure which one she has. She just got it for her birthday at the end of October. Is there any way to tell which generation hers is?

  4. We have the Rival Cool Touch that I got at Target several months back. I am not sure that they carry them anymore because I saw them on clearance last month. But if you can find one, we really like it. It's a good size without being huge, and it's fairly easy to clean compared to the others that we have had. I only paid $35. for it too :)
  5. I don't know how much your BF's dad would enjoy it, but since BF's mom paints, what about a gift certificate to a paint-your-own-pottery studio? They choose their pieces, paint them, and then they glaze and fire them. Color Me Mine is the one we go to here, but of course, there are none in GA. Maybe you could google to find one in their area?

  6. I preordered the Night at the Museum 2 DVD for DS from Amazon, and got it the day after it was released. It was packaged in a large padded envelope. When I opened the envelope, and took out the DVD, I could hear rattling inside. Since it is sealed in plastic, and a gift, I don't want to open it. It could be just a bunch of the paper inserts shifting around in there, or it could be the DVD in pieces. I know this sounds crazy, but if you got yours, can you shake it around a little to see if it makes any noise? :cheesy: Normally, I wouldn't be worried, knowing I can return it, but DS has been asking for it, and I know he will be heartbroken if he goes to watch in on Christmas morning, and it's shattered.
  7. are they ever going to want to play in separate locations? (one at grandmas, one at home?)

That's a good point. Honestly, in paying $30 for BOTH, you got 2 for less than the cost of one. I'd keep both, and maybe leave one unopened. See if they both want/need them and if not, could you use as a birthday gift for one of their friends? Just an idea. :)

  8. My DH is a JJ fan too, and he has Nascar 09. I know that JJ was in the advertisements for that one, and is in that game as well. Since it's 09, they may be clearancing them out, but since it's the last year for that game, they may be keeping them around. Amazon has the game for a few different systems, and it's pretty inexpensive. :)

  9. IMO, if you aren't planning on filling the stockings, you should pass them along to the kids that aren't living at home. I think it may raise questions by the smaller children as to why some of the stockings aren't filled. Of course, it may raise questions about why the older 2 don't have stockings hanging too... In my case, my mom still fills my stocking at her house (the same one I had as a kid). When I got married, she added a stocking for my DH, and when we had our sons, she added stockings for them as well. She fills them all, every year. DH, our sons, and myself all have stockings at our house too, and they get filled by me/DH. My mom just tells our boys that Santa stopped at her house for us too :)
