  1. Despite hours of attempts to discuss with customer service at Sears holding (national), sears.com, sears national customer service, and local Sears stores, I am completely empty handed save for the "sorry 'bout your luck" line I've gotten everywhere. I'm going to the BBB and not going back to Sears with my business. I'll also advocate against them at any chance I get. Sad, really. I have a long history of business with them, and they are willing to lose all future business because they don't want to own up to their mistake. But I guess that's all I can do.
  2. 10:1 odds say it was canceled for some BS reason like the ones they have been using to justify canceling all the other orders.
  3. Glad you at least got a portion of your order. I'm stick stuck at "Sorry 'bout your luck. Our error is not our problem."
  4. This may sound crass, but I really have no sympathy for Sears if there computers had trouble. I refuse to believe that Black Friday suddenly snuck up on them as the busiest shopping day of the year. If they were not prepared, the consumer should not have to accept the burden of thier mistake. IMO, If they accepted orders and comitted to them, they have a responsibility to honor those orders and should not be cancelling them out from under their consumers' feet.
  5. Wish I could agree with you. Sears had better hope the better business bureau likes them too. That's where I am headed next.
  6. I ordered jump drive, SD card, microwave, and Craftsman kids workbench. All showed in stock until this morning, as of this morning the work bench showed out of stock.
  7. I spent 4 hours today on hold and speaking with representatives. The reps were great. I requested to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor told the rep that she (Cheryle and Heather) would not speak with me. When I requested they contact me or give me their contact, they told the representative they would not talk with me. I asked for the sups' supervisor and Cheryle and Heather told the representative they would not give out that information or forward any contact information on the their sups. Infuriating doesn't begin to explain.
  8. The status of my order shows completed. I have no indication other than the email I received that the order was canceled. According to the custoemr support staff, the whole order has been canceled, and the fact that their website shows my order is complete and not canceled means squat to them. All my order details are there including showing that payment was received. But apparently that doesn't mean anything.
  9. My Sears update Been on phone for 3 hours with 5 different people at Sears.com customer service and national customer service. Managers will not speak with me despite my requests, will not offer to returm my call, or offer alternate person to speak with to get my confirmed order reinstated. It is getting to be very difficult to hold my cool and try to work through this in a level headed manner. Also tried by email, no response there as well. At this rate ,the BBB will be hearing from me. Of course that will take long enough to ensure the items I bought as gifts will not arrive in time.
  10. Got emails yesterday indicating that my order from Black Friday was canceled due to errors in the website on Black Friday. Called customer service right away, waitied for 30 minutes on hold, and finally found out that they will not reinstate my order, pricing is long gone, and no substitutions will be made. Best part is that the items that are still in stock, they won't honor the order or price. They told me I had to reorder and pay full price. But they were quick to point out that they did me a huge favor by not charging my credit card for the order and wouldn't have to mess up my statement by having a charge and return immediately thereafter. Wow, what a relief that is! I am beyond irate. I did a great deal of Christmas shopping at Sears.com since I could aviod the malls. Now I am screwed. Searts better buck up, or
