Oh I love this time of year! Decorated the gameroom on Friday & Saturday. Both trees are up. And I am ecstatic. I don't think I have been this far ever before December 1st!!! wooohooo My spare room, however is still full of paper, boxes and some storage totes and a ton of clean clothes that need put away. I can't contain my excitement.

Walgreens had a 6 ft. prelit for 19.99 (not a BF sale) but I don't have the current ad, however they could still have it. Also I have seen little ones --2 ft. at Walmart and Target for 8, and 10 dollars! and they sell small (not mini) ornaments in the dollar bin at Target, so you could probably get a string of 35 lights for 2-3 dollars many places and a string of garland for 1-4 dollars at dollar tree, Walmart. It could end up looking really cute for total of 20 dollars or under! And when you have more money another year, you could just use it in your bedroom/kids room .... I don't know if you have a son or a daughter, but speaking for myself, back to when I was a 10-16 yr old girl, I know I'd want a tree of some sort, I wouldn't feel like it were the holidays without one, even a small one would mean so much to me, but just my opinion :)

I have wrapped everything I bought, so I just have a few things coming in the mail to do...some other day... I was wrapping until 2 a.m. and it was sooooooo cold here, perfect atmosphere, plus this a.m. we had a dusting of snow.

exactly! I wrapped about 10 gifts and came back on here.... saw that I missed that wrap around throw! was gonna get for husband, because he is always cold....not the greatest though, maybe something will come along that is nicer. I was looking for one of those hand blender things, couldn't believe no store had them in an ad. I like one by Hamilton Beach (had in my cart but Amazon raised the price!) & there is an Oster one thats not bad either.

how long are these deals going to keep coming around the clock? Until Sunday evening? This is crazy, I have things to do, but I keep checking back here... :

Well I got them, and they are beautiful (I ordered 3 hardbacks, they all arrived today, the paperback came the other day). I suppose it was worth the wait but I wanted to take 1 as a hostess gift yesterday to dinner, especially because it was a Holiday cookbook, so she'd have it BEFORE xmas.... and it shows up the day after I go visit. *sigh* Maybe I will give her the one that was for me for xmas--and keep the holiday one. Still don't get why they shipped separate-- not one of them said back ordered when I ordered them...

My hubby did something kind - a lady was loading up her trunk and it was suuuuuuper windy all day. The wind blew her PACKED cart half way across parking lot and he ran and got it for her..SHE WAS SOO HAPPY :) .

Got the wii wheel of fortune game for 9.99 that I could not get this last night at Walmart. the ds version is 14.99 -wanted to mention how much trouble I am having today with the page loaded, missing out on some deals because of that...

I know sales are now over, but to reply --YES it has happened to me before, and I got in a BIG DISCUSSION, but it was at Walmart, I went round and round and I was not allowed to buy an item, they said it should have not been on the floor but would not give me one other bit of info... I was sooo mad
