  1. I picked up the ones that I wanted on Amazon too! There was one that I missed out on and was able to order from WM online. It sure beats going to the store! I was just reading the posts about people's experiences at the stores! I am so glad I was able to get everything I wanted online!
  2. I haven't tried to connect mine--giving it as a family gift. What type of router do you have? I was looking over the manual on the Magnavox website and it says that a "n" router is recommended for stable operation.
  3. Glad you got one! I was too late to cancel my online order......but since I got free shipping, I guess I am only out a trip to the store to return it. In looking further into this, I think that Walmart's problem is that they mixed up the online descriptions for the two models. The 5130 does not say Netflix, but the 5120 does. But it is just the opposite on the actual boxes. And as far as reviews--the sites that reviewed this before BF were basing their reviews off of the incorrect description on walmart's website. None of the reviews I read were from people who had actually used the 5120 model. Go read some of the questions that are being answered on the walmart website--people have been asking if it did actually have Netflix and now that people have actually bought the 5120 and set it up they are coming back and posting it does NOT have it!
  4. Last night on amazon I ordered every blu-ray movie (except one) I had been thinking about getting at Walmart. I then stayed up until Walmart.com went live and ordered the other movie I wanted, a pair of jeans, and the magnavox blu-ray player. The player had free shipping and the jeans and movie were .97 shipping on each. Then thanks to post here I went back to amazon and ordered an Xbox controller. I also noticed the $29 router at Walmart and decided to order that, and it also had free shipping. Then I went to bed and slept in for the first BF morning in years! This morning I tried to order the Kindle deal on amazon but was unsuccessful. I order some gifts on verabradley.com--on sale and free shipping. Then, after finding out for sure that the magnavox I had ordered did not have Netflix and finding out they were selling a similar model for the same $69 at the store that did have it, I sent my hubby to pick up that model. In the past, I did some BF shopping online but always ended up at the store too. It was nice to stay home this year! And the best part was that I paid less than $2 total on shipping for everything! Thanks Gottadeal!!
  5. On Walmart's website they have where you can check quantities of items in the store by putting in your zip code. I checked quantities on the 5130 (on the website this model is listed at a much higher price) before my husband went to the store. It said, "limited quantities" on the website. My husband said that he saw two of the 5130's and he got one. Also, he went to the store late this afternoon--way after doorbuster hours were over. I would check the quantities on .com and give it a try if Netflix is important!
  6. From what I have found on the internet, the $69 model MBP5120F/F7 does not have Netflix on the box and indeed does not connect to Netflix. However, I have read that at some WM stores they were selling the better model (5130F) that does have Netflix for the $69 price because of a pricing error. I found this posted on a couple of boards-- that the other model is also ringing up at the $69 price. It seems that everyone is confusing these two models and if you are lucky, you might get the better model with Netflix for the BF price. I just sent hubby to WM to check out the situation..... Update: Just got a text from hubby that he got the Netflix model 5130F for $69. I double checked with him that it was $69 and that it did have Netflix on the box. So, I guess I will return the one I ordered online.
  7. Thank you for posting this! It is false advertising on WM's website then because it clearly states Netflix there. I guess there is a similar model that does have Netflix and that is what the WM associate is posting about, further misleading people about what the $69 model offers. Not sure if I will keep mine or not.....
  8. There are still lost of questions about this on the Walmart website! People have called Magnavox CS and gotten different answers but a WM employee said it does say Netflix on the box! I ordered one online last night--did anyone pick this up at the store and try Netflix yet?
  9. Congratulations!!! Glad to know someone actually got one!
  10. Edited to add: Yes, it will tell you if you are on waitlist. Sorry, I read your post wrong! No, like before it was just spinning and then it when it showed again it went to un-clickable "Join waitlist". It you get added to the waitlist, it will say something like "on waitlist" and it doesn't show that.
  11. Waitlist button became click-able for a second but I still wasn't able to get on it!
  12. Same thing here! I guess there are too many on the waitlist??
  13. I can't believe that either!! I guess there is no stated limit per person??
  14. When you click on it, it shows a 3G model!
  15. Goodnight Brad! Thanks for all you do!! I got the blu-ray player, a pair of jeans, and a blu-ray movie. Then I went back and ordered a new router. It was .97 to ship to home for two of the items and two items shipped for free. How nice!!
  16. Huh. It doesn't say SD, but I am still charged tax.
  17. My ad (for a Sears Hometown) says that they are $199.99 each when you buy the pair. So I guess you have to buy the pair to get them at that price--in other words, $399.98 for the pair.

I think last year the online items came active at about 2:18am central if I remember correctly. I was able to pick up a laptop and a few other odds and ends before they sold out.
  19. I live in SD and always get charged tax.
  20. Pennys varies greatly by region. My ad on BF last year was very different from the leaked one. I haven't compared them this year, but I am sure they are different again.
  21. I just checked the Netflix website and I don't see any Magnavox blu-ray players listed......
  22. I am wondering about this too! There seems to be discussions all over the internet about whether it actually will work with Netflix. The Walmart website says it will but I found the owner's manual pdf and it does not mention Netflix at all. Some of the reviews of other Magnavox models do mention Netflix, so I guess I will take my chances!
  23. Brad--I just wanted to say how much I appreciate all that you do! I am sure dealing with all these companies and their legal threats can be a PIA. I know so many of us appreciate being able to know what the BF sales are in advance so we can have a plan of action and save as much $ as possible. Thank you!
  24. I have never shopped Sears on BF, mostly because the only store near me is a "Hometown" store and only has things like appliances, lawnmowers, exercise equp., etc. My washer just died so I have been looking for deals on washers and dryers. I don't have many options other than Sears. Does anyone know if the Hometown stores have the same F&F and BF appliance deals as are shown in the regular Sears ads? What about online? I know I can order and have it shipped to my hometown store, but are the online deals the same as shown in the ads? And what are my chances of even getting any of the deals online or in store if they are available? Thanks for any help:)....I am trying to decide if it is worth it to wait for either the F&F or BF deals or if I should just go ahead and get something now.....
