I am fine with people selling stuff on ebay. It does kind of tick me off that they snagged all the laptops and there are 100's of them on there now. I don't stand in the cold for 6+ hours, so I guess they should make something for their time. I do think however, someone acting like they need it for a gift for a child and turning around and selling it on ebay is TOTALLY WRONG. You should not be the "wholeseller" they are getting their product from because you are a nice person. It makes you not really want to do that type of thing again and someone in the future might have really wanted something you got. You will be soured from this experience.

I've already been on ebay earlier looking at/bidding on the laptop I wanted. 39 of them on there this am. They're going for about $100 or so more than what it was sold for yesterday. I'm hoping some of the bf computer excitement will calm down in a few days and I'll get one a little less. :)

My walmart does this, electonics items are in fabrics toys are on the other side of the store. Doesn't help a bit. The place was an insane madhouse yesterday!

The stampede at walmart for the electronics items. There was no organization what so ever. People had carts EVERYWHERE in the way. I didn't see any fights, but they had to have several large men employees by the pallets screaming at the top of their lungs "THERE WILL BE NO PUSHING AND SHOVING". I thought it was just insane. We didn't get there soon enough to get the laptop (though I heard an employee say they didn't have any to begin with) They were offering 20% off any other laptop. I REALLY wish I'd have taken advantage of this, but there were so many people in electronics it was impossible to get in there. Bottom line... no item I may want to buy is worth me or anyone else receiving bodily harm.

Read the instructions carefully. One of the forms should say a copy of the upc is ok. There's no way they can expect you to sent one original upc to 2 locations.

You are going to love it! I don't actually have one. I have a dvd-rw in the computer and don't own many vhs anyway. I got a friend of mine one on my discount from work. If you use the lower quality setting, you can get 3 vhs movies on one dvd. The pic loses a little quality, but it's really not that much that you will notice. You can keep adding to your dvd until you finalize it. Or get the rw's if you want to change stuff on there. She uses it for recording on tv too and absolutely loves it.
