True enough. We drive to a central location where all the stores are. It's about 40 minutes from here (hence my post on the "target wake up call"!) I got a killer gateway desktop system at best buy last year at a super price, but after waiting in line 2 hours, I just wanted to check out and move on. Instead, I was harassed by the GEEK SQUAD MAFIA to buy surge protectors, battery back ups, extended warranties, etc. I was actually MAD when I left there and it wasn't due to the wait.

I agree as well, seems compusa's stuff is about the same as on their site now and I hate mail in rebates. I don't think I can stand in line 2 hours again at best buy this year, so I was REALLY hoping compusa would be the bomb. It is cool they're opening at midnight though.

That's awesome!!!!! I didn't know they did that. I definitely need it. I'm always the one skirting in the parking lot of my first store at exactly 59 seconds before they open! If you hear anything of it this year, please let us know.

This one looks pretty good. I'm trying to hold out for a great deal on one with a DVD-RW. Everything I've looked at the last few weeks is $900 and up. That's a lot of $$ just to be able to sit on the couch and burn a dvd/surf the web!!

I'm new here. This is the perfect place for me; I live for a bargain!!!! I literally had to BEG for the day off. We are "blacked out" from taking time off Nov - Jan. That really stinks, but the kicker is I didn't ask for any holidays, just black friday!! My coworkers think I'm nuts. They just don't know what fun it is!

I would put $150 with it and get the really cool black ipod nano!! Just want to say, I'm brand new to this site. I love bargains and sales. This is definitely the place for me!
