I did not realize JCPenny did this! I keep hearing about these snowglobes and I really want one!!!! I did go to JCPenny during BF last year, but was clueless to this gift. :(

Target is great, but at this point, I'm leaning towards Best Buy for the Gateway laptop. I'm trying to hold off until I can get a glimpse of Circuit City and Target. Can't wait much longer though or it won't be here in time.

I'm sure lots of us work at places we have an employee discount since we LOVE to shop so much. I work at a tv shopping network and we have great stuff, but I always feel kind of cheap when I give stuff I've gotten on a great discount as a gift. Am I being silly?

Most likely it will be with a 2 year contract. I'm with Cingular and that's really the only way you get a deal. LOVE the service though.

Thank you! I was beginning to feel like I'd commited a sin bringing ebay in here I've bought and sold over 500 items there and, knock on wood, not had any problems. You just need to be sure and check the sellers feedback.

I was just poking around on ebay and there are tons of gift cards on there. Some auctions close out right around the face value of the card. But, some of them are quite a bit less. Those of you that are going to get big ticket items could probably save even more on BF. Go to ebay.com and enter gift card in the search box :)

For those of you that would like to throw a wrapping party, here's a tip for you. I work at a shopping network and w/i the next week we are going to have a 263 piece gift wrap/bag/card/etc assortment IN A STORAGE CASE for $10!!!

Sorry, I also meant to say I have the cheapie Cyberhome dvd player from Walmart and it's worked great for 2 years.

Everything I do is generally in the + format. Most everyone else's dvd players (I know) will play them fine. I bought a spindle of - a while back and everyone else that tried to play it, the movie would freeze up. I do mine on the computer, but I thought I'd throw that in for the format question.

For real!! I'm buying the $39 all in one at wally world. It's cheaper than buying the ink for my HP photo printer
