The ad I got in the paper today says at the top: After Thanksgiving Sale! Huge 5 Hour Sale, Doors open at 6am Friday
If this isn't the BF ad, I am not sure what days it is good for.
It's has a $15 DVD player, an $18 mp3 player, some $2.99 Barbies....
What paper did you get it in? I live in South Eastern Wisconsin and I didn't get it any local papers so far.

I believe that only cardholders get them. I get them all the time. Tonight and tomorrow they are having extra % off sales and I plan on using my coupon as well.

If it's $54 shipped that is an awesome deal. I'm looing for a new pre-lit white light tree. With 700 lights this is the best deal I've seen.

Having worked for the Disney catalog (when it still existed) I can tell you that they would pull people off their usual jobs to moniter sites just like this one to find out what was being posted, what people were saying, etc. We would take the names that kept recurring to see if there was a trend or if it was the same people griping about the same stuff. To their credit, they would respond to trends. Big Brother Is Watching!
And that's why they listened to people last year who said their ad sucked and why they had to release the secret specials because BB and CC's had better deals. No one wanted the ESPN basketball thingy, the Garth Brooks cds and the robes last year. It doesn't sound like they listened to what people wanted good deals on.

I'm a computer science major, but the max amount of memory that windows vista(The version installed on the Sony) can only handle 2gb of ram. So if you buy the 2gb stick of laptop memory from BB on BF, you have to take out the memory that came with the laptop.(The 2GB memory kit sold on BF at BB for $54.99 should work with the Sony, but the kit is not 1 2gb stick, rather 2 1gb sticks) I just don't know if I will use the extra 40gb of hard drive space and I don't really want to stand there waiting the "geek squad" to install anti virus when i could be shopping elsewhere on BF.
All the 32 bit versions of the Vista OS support a maximum of 4 GB.

No. Once I found a link that worked it showed up on the main page and it added it automatically to my cart. Then when I added the eyeclops and went to checkout, the free shipping and $10 off was applied.

I like the convienance of the self-checkout but I also don't like the fact that stores get away with not paying someone to check me out. It's not like I'm getting a discount for doing it myself.
