  1. I had a Barbie Camper/RV a long time ago. I think I was 6 when I got it for Christmas. I LOVED it and have wonderful memories of playing with it. I even have a picture of my Grandpa putting it together for me on Christmas Eve when my brother and I were sleeping. I hope your daughter has fun with her Barbie Camper!

I believe this is it. The angle of the picture makes it look shorter than it was. http://www.gmcmi.com/mem-pages/barbie.html

I had that camper too! Mine was the beige one on the bottom. I used to sit on top of it and scoot down the street. I loved my camper! I was a total Barbie girl, and I never got the Barbie Dreamhouse that I wised for, but boy did I love that camper. I'm sure she will love it!

  2. I've gotten a few things from Amazon this month, but nothing is really an awesome find. I bought the Connect 4x4 for $15 thinking that was a good deal but then I got it at Target for $5 during their Toy Book sale. Most of the great toy deals I've gotten were through Kmart that I price matched with Target because Kmart was sold out. I'm beginning to think that Amazon won't happen this year.
  3. I have no idea what you all are talking about.......we fill stockings on x-mas eve and thats it. Is this something you do on a different day???

Yes, it's different. St. Nick comes the night of December 5th and that's when we put out our stockings. I grew up Catholic so we've always celebrated it. I've always had the assumption that Santa Claus was based off of St. Nick or Sinterklass as I grew up hearing about in stories in school and at home.

  4. My DS 7 asked for a drum set too. It's the second year he asked. I looked all over the net but finally found a killer deal for a set on Craigslist. It was a $250 drum set, two years old and played less than 5 times. It's in like new condition and I only paid $50!

The $50 investment I'm fine with if he plays it 10 times and never plays it again. If I would have spent $200+ and he never played with then I'd feel really bad.

  5. I've just got to know...what kind of crafting uses a toaster? Can you tell I'm not crafty in the least!

You guys made me really LOL!

I've been making these little scrabble tile pendants (jewelry) which are scrabble tiles with pretty paper decoupaged over them. Then you put a thick glaze on the top. It takes awhile for them to dry out, but I've read online that putting them in a toaster oven for a few minutes dries them up fast.
