Growing up we did stockings on St. Nick's. That's what I do with my kids too. My husband's family didn't do them. I usually spend $10 on each one. Not a lot of candy but trinkets like card games, maybe an action figure or car.

I live in Wisconsin. Our city sets the date for trick or treat, usually the Sunday closet to Halloween. We trick or treat from 4-6. We don't have any laws that state a cutoff. We don't have issues or problems that I'm aware of. I would hope my kids stopped trick or treating before highschool, but if they are dressed up I don't see a big deal.

Anyone have any details on when the Mills Fleet Farm ad will be out? Last year Toyland opened on October 13th. I haven't seen an ad yet but am very excited.

I got everything I wanted from TRU online last year. I'm 40 minutes away and figured by the time I got there and the cost of gas the shipping paid for itself. Plus I ensured that I got what I wanted.

I pre-ordered a game from TRU and they didn't ship on the release date. They didn't even have it in stock! I ended up calling them asking what the holdup was and they had no answer other than the manufacturer delayed shipment. All other sites online were selling it so I didn't understand why they were out of stock. I cancelled my order and got it from somewhere else.

DHlL lost my package from Things Remembered. It was supposed to have been here on 12/17 but never made it. They overnighted me my order and I should get it Monday. Hopefully before we leave. I ordered dvd's from Amazon on 12/11 and they didn't show up until yesterday.

I finally got my ties yesterday but no free gift boxes. Did anyone else get gift boxes?

My Walmart took off all their rollback prices in toys about 2 weeks ago. All the toys are now regular priced. Needless to say they have tons of everything.

Why do they advertise free shipping but then charge you a $5.00 shipping surcharge if you order online? I'm going to call and see if they can deduct that from my order.

I bought the tree a few weeks ago when it was $53. We are pleased with it. It's tall but not too full.

Hmm, I got my box yesterday so I will have to look and see if I have that on it. I think it's stupid they are doing it and are just inviting theives to steal packages.
