  1. Not every game has free shipping (example: Finding Nemo for $14.99) so be careful.
  2. Basically looks like all the Player's Choice games are at this price... :) (although Super Smash Bros. Melee is not for some reason)
  3. Star Fox Adventures: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006599U/ Pikmin: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005Q8LY/
  4. Edit: Looks like there are also some PS2 & Xbox games that have been reduced as well. ________________ Amazon/TRU has many cheap GameCube games. Many older titles including most of the Player's Choice games have been dropped to $14.99 or less and many have free shipping with no minimum purchase. Here's a list of some of the better games available IMO. Super Mario Sunshine Mario Golf Zelda: Wind Waker Metroid Prime F-Zero GX Pikmin Star Fox Adventures NBA Street Vol. 2 (no automatic free shipping) SSX 3 (no automatic free shipping) Animal Crossing Soul Calibur II Tony Hawk's Underground There are many more, just look around! :)
  5. Yeah, for some reason, it works fine with Sage (an RSS plugin for FireFox) but the "RSS Headlines" feature of my.yahoo.com hasn't updated in 2 weeks. No biggie, must be Yahoo's problem.
  6. I wouldn't mind a reliable, relatively compact printer. My old HP DeskJet does not work well at all.
  7. Hmmm, must be my reader then. I'll delete the feed and reload it and see if that helps.
  8. Seems like the GottaDeal RSS feed hasn't updated in a week or so... is there a problem with it? Or is it my reader? (it doesn't seem like that's the case because other feeds look fine...)
  9. Yep, already got a call into them. Come on, as a hot dealer, why do you think I got married in the first place?
  10. I'm just kidding, I'm only 26. Although I did just get married so maybe I'm supposed to be more "mature" now?
  11. True. But maybe I'm having to learn to show some restraint in my old age.
  12. I thought long and hard about ordering - if I had any need for a laptop I would jump on it. But I couldn't come up with any honest reason that I really needed one. There are several reasons why I'd want one, but I couldn't justify spending $750+. Sigh.
  13. Damn! That's quite a deal! Any idea which "selected" models this will work on, or is it any Inspiron over $1500?
  14. Looks like I could get a dash kit and wiring harness from Parts Express for about 23 bucks. How does the Aux input for your XM work (how & where does it connect)?
  15. Brad, I've got a 2000 Nissan Sentra. The factory radio is not very "tall".
  16. Any good sites that give good instructions on basic car stereo installation? Also, my factory stereo is not a standard DIN size... where's a good place to buy kits to integrate it?
  17. Good deal, but I'd probably have trouble installing it myself...
  18. I agree, the source of the problem is the supplier, but I do think the retailer has a responsibility to keep the customer notified of possible issues. For a week after I ordered, they still said it would "ship in 1-2 weeks" and it remained one of the top-selling items on the site, so I am guessing they took hundreds if not thousands of orders for something for which they obviously had no idea when they'd really be able to ship. Plus, my order status & expected shipping date never changed one bit until the item suddenly disappeared. I know that there is nothing Amazon can do now as far as getting me a unit, but I do think they could have done better at keeping the customer informed, especially considering that there was an MIR that was nearing the cutoff date. Ah well, I'll take my 20 :2dollar:s and be done with it.
  19. Well, I sent a scathing e-mail to Amazon CS and they gave me a $20 promo G.C. so that curbs my anger somewhat. I'm still not terribly happy with their inventory tracking system, though.
  20. Argh! Amazon cancelled my order, saying it's "no longer available from the manufacturer", giving me a link to the SkyFi as an "alternative". So much for "ships in 1-2 weeks", which was the inventory status even for about a week after I placed my order. I really wanted this, and now if I go down to Best Buy and buy one (paying an extra $25 to boot), I won't get the free Home kit because you had to purchase by 9/12!! Although I do still have a printout of my original Amazon invoice dated Sept. 10… Guess that might be kind of shady to try for it that way, though.
  21. I think there must be somewhat of a shortage. Some retailers show it as in-stock on their websites (and Best Buy says it's in-stock at my local store as well) but several other major sites say OOS, and I've read on numerous forums that some people can't find them at local B&Ms. I'm sure Amazon ran out because their price was so low & they're probably scrambling to get more, but you can bet Delphi & XM are pushing to get these produced ASAP. Building their subscriber base is the key to their business, and they certainly don't want people putting off subscribing (or even worse, looking to Sirius) because they can't make the hardware available.
