  1. I used it last year and really liked it for the same reasons you mention.
  2. My problem is I am not really looking for a lot as we have changed what we are doing in gift exchange since the family is so big. I did find a mixer on sale for my dd for her birthday in January. In the target add, I saw the baby monitor that is on sale but couldn't get it in the early access so will have to try for it on Black Friday, having a new grandbaby next year so have to start collecting
  3. Don't like it but if it something I am shopping for I always figure it is worth a look online but I won't go to the store to do that.
  4. https://www.amazon.com/Yale-Assure-YRD226-Touchscreen-Deadbolt/dp/B07BKWJPNQ/ref=lp_17898898011_1_2?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1540939811&sr=1-2 This is ideal for people who don't like keeping up with keys.
  5. #1- I know it was in this store ad! Where is it? #2- Look at all those shoppers, we are so excited to see them! #3- You got it, hand it here honey!
  6. I feel like we are just seeing the same things year after year. A person only need so many electronics or gadgets and if they last for several years then no need to buy a new one. I, too, have yet to get excited about any ad. We are even thinking about going out after the mad rush to look around but enjoying our dinner first. I have hated the early start times since they began and now with finding sales before Black Friday/Thursday it is beginning to seem much ado about nothing.
  7. I would love to see it go back to Friday openings so all the workers could spend the holiday with family, too. I really enjoyed getting up in the middle of the night to go with my family to stand in line with some coffee waiting for the opening visiting with others in line. With the earlier openings there a lot more people crowding in the store, you had to be really committed to get up in the a.m. to go out in the dark and cold to wait in line so it really pared down the masses. We would go get breakfast afterwards because we would be done about 9a.m.

    Refurbished Apple

I bought a couple of ipods a few years ago that were refurbished and they held up well and saved me some money too. If you can find them I would get them.
  9. I am getting my list made out of what I am shopping for...sure hope Walmart puts the sheets online this year.
  10. I agree with this...we are beginning to find a few things on our list at good prices so we won't have to try and get them on Thanksgiving Day in the crush...
  11. Been scouring the sales and the ads...starting to pick some of the early items up...getting excited now...
  12. Each year it is a little more online especially once the sale ads post so I can tell if I am getting a good deal. If it is a must have I prefer to put my hands on it at the store but for things that won't be a big deal if I don't get them and I can get them ordered Wednesday or Thursday morning then online it is.
  13. My son is hoping for a good deal on an XBox one bundle...everything else is flexible...the whole family has lots of electronics and not interested in getting new at this point..if I found a good deal on a Tivo mini might get that...
  14. Fayetteville, AR...WPS!! always lots of choices and great bargains...
  15. If I find a good buy on something that is on my watch list then I grab it...last night I bought shopkins season 3- 5 pk buy 1 get 1 and a big joe bean bag chair for 9 dollars...I bought a couple of Breyer horses when they had a good sale on Breyer sight
  16. Best memory...hard to choose, so many great times after my kids got old enough to go with me but one memory stands out...it was when the shopping was in the early mornings, it was real cold out, my DIL and I went to Toys R Us while my DS stood in line at Target. When we went to go in at Toys R Us line jumpers tried to rush the entrance and one tried to pull my DIL out of place but all the shopper banded together with the employees and the line jumpers were sent to the end of the line. Then we joined my DS at Target and were at the head of the line when it opened. Later we saw a news clip with us entering Target and DS yelling " Woo-hoo!! Go, Go Go!" We laughed so hard because we didn't realize he had hollered that out. Worst memory...the afternoon starts at Walmart...all the crazies crowd the store and people grab stuff only to ditch it later around the store.
  17. I Won!! ...Love the caption contest and reading everyone's captions... Congrats to all the winners ...Thanks Brad..
  18. 1. And you thought going camping in the woods was primitive? 2. We are going to have a big screen tv in every room with this deal...even the bathroom! 3. And they're OFF...shopper green shirt is neck and neck with black ensemble ahead of the pack...
  19. I like some of the stuff Walmart has to offer...still waiting on the Lowe's ad...not sure we will be waiting in line anywhere but may plan to be out and get some of the things..interested if I can just get it online but most are only doing free shipping if $50 so that could make me have to go to the store...amazon if they price match would work out well with prime...Hmmm...decisions, decisions...lol
  20. I shopped Bath and Body today...buy 3 get 3 free, used my $10 off $30 coupon plus get a free regular size with any purchase so walked out with a bag full for $33 and another $10 off $30 coupon good through the New Year...used the JCPenney's $10 off $25 to buy the boots my DD wants then went to Kohl's used the $10 off $25 and 20% code to buy purse DDIL wanted...let the savings begin
  21. Haven't seen anything I am really after yet....but with all the coupons coming out from various stores you just never know and there were some decent deals with the Walmart stuff..
  22. So excited to be getting my shirt soon...I have one from previous year so now someone else in my family can wear one...
  23. I have made the trek out to the store in the bygone years when we shopped at 5a.m. and I have done the newer Thanksgiving Day version....I think if you enjoy the going to the store and the madness and you do it with family who is it hurting because obviously the corporate world has decided...I still love the stores that wait until Friday though....my family and I have some great memories of former shopping adventures...I do admit that as the online shopping has become available Wednesday night, if I can order it then I do so I have fewer stops to make out in the crowd....Not sure how it will be for us this year, we are talking about just lingering over Thanksgiving dinner, taking in a movie and then maybe going to check out some sales afterwards because honestly, we are downsizing on the amount of gifts and we already have a lot of it bought...still will keep my eye out for anything extra that is a good deal either online or in store... happy bargain hunting to all
  24. Want to see Toys R' Us, Walmart, and Lowe's...already have a lot bought but if a good deal pops up on something I wouldn't mind picking up....I will grab it...missed out on snow globes last year as they didn't come in until the next day at Penney's..could use a good catch on super hero infinity stuff...
