This year, all black friday ads say Merchandise Pickup, right under the Gift card promo, so hopefully all stores follow that.

1080p is the highend, def not this tv Sears only has 3 1080p's right now, one made by Sony, one by Samsung and one by Mitsubishi and they are the more expensive tv's. I can't remember right now if that Mag. is even HD, it might be ED. I know the smaller tv they have in the ad is not HD.

I know at Sears, you have to be a kmart or sears employee to get the discount.

They use the phillips name on their nicer stuff and the magnovox name on the cheaper stuff.

They are only good on BF. And they are supposed to be handed out at Package Pickup.

It's an ok unit. Not a normal model we sell, we got it for BF. probably to be able to offer a good deal on it. It is one of the most limited items of all the doorbusters that I received; and I expect it to go the fastest.

At Sears, mall stores, usually people wait outside whichever door is closest to the department they will be shopping in first. So there are lines at every door. I know at my mall, you can wait in the mall usually; but for all the other doors, yea, you have to stand in the cold. The open at 5 this year. Also the Reward Cards are being given out at package pickup I believe everywhere because it was advertised in the paper that way. All doorbusters are while quantities last, no subs and no rainchecks. Some larger items like TVs can be ordered once they run out in the store as take with items.

Sears will have Black Friday deals available online during that time period for ship to home only, not for in-store pickup.

you got what you should have there. We are supposed to put the refund (if you have your receipt) back in the form it was paid for. So the worse case could have been a 10 GC and the rest in whatever you paid with (cash if that was so). In fact the system automatically puts it back on a CC if that is what you used without us even needing to swipe it. But if you paid part cash it probably was just quicker for them to give you all back cash. Upgrades that are coming should start recognizing split forms of payment though.

weird we matched if it was in time frame and they customer had info (no time to try and call CC or BB, etc on BF) because usually a lot of the BF stuff is unique for the most part and you dont run into it much. Don't know why you wouldn't match DVD prices either? There shouldn't be local store policy that contridicts national policy. I was unaware of any alert that said we were not supposed to match others BF prices if it fit our price match policy, same with DVD sales.
