  1. I got one (using to surf the net right now!), but I was lucky. These things were gone quick, but I found one laying on the floor in the computer department with noone standing beside it. I watched and circled the area for a a couple of minutes...noone got it or showed interest in it...several people in the area walked away. I saw someone else approach the area from the main floor and noticed their eyes went directly to the monitor as they started making their way to it. I casually walked up to it and stood beside it. They went elsewhere and paid no more attention to it. A minute or two went by...noone showed interest to it so I picked it up and looked at it to make sure it wasn't damaged or missing from the box...wondering if anyone would say anything to me. Noone said anything...so I then walked away with it. I hope I didn't get someone's monitor, but if I did....I apologize. A word of advice, don't leave it sitting so long by its lonesome! Oh well, its a great monitor...but the speakers aren't worth much. I will be unhooking them and use my original speakers.
  2. I did a little recon today at the Gwinnett Place BB in GA. I saw pallets jammed against the Magnolia section to the right of the front door. They were wrapped in black plastic, but the tops were exposed on some. The closest pallet to me was holding the 32" LCD Westinghouse TV. I couldn't count the number of TV's, but BB was nice enough to leave an inventory tag on the pallet. A total of 60...I doubt that many were on the pallet, so I assume it is the total number of 32" TV's available at the store. They had started making part of their mazes already, especially near the computer section and checkouts. I got caught looking at my BF shopping list printed from the BB.com by an employee. He said "planning on having a good weekend?" We talked for a bit and he said he saw a lot of people walking around the store today with printouts like mine...hmmmm, better not go to this store for BF! Sounds like it will be crowded!
  3. A coworker of mine just got a 56" DLP Samsung TV from the Doraville, GA store. The model down is selling for $2600 on sell at Best Buy and other places, but he was able to get the model up for $1900. I've heard great stories about low prices there. Hope my coworker gets one of those flyers for the private sale next week!
  4. I stand corrected. I revisited the ad, but did not see the 18-month home theater financing option this time. I swear it was there, but maybe the black and white scan is slightly different than the color scan that was linked last night. Or I may be confusing this week's ad that I saw yesterday when I went to BB. I'm sure I saw it on the black and white ad, though. I specifically went to BB yesterday to recon a couple of home theater items due to the 18 month special financing. Anyone able to check to see if the B&W ad is any different than the color one now available?
  5. The ad specifically says "Best Buy's price match policy does not apply to items in this ad and is not valid on prior purchases." This can be found in the red section on the bottom of page 23, right above the HAPPY SHOPPING!. That sounds to me like it is a no go on price matching. The only way I could see a way around it is to make the purchase before BF, return it during the sale hours with original receipt (to get the full refund, otherwise they will only give you the amount of the sale price at that time), and then somehow convince the BB employee to let you have the item back so that you can repurchase. No clue if that would work, since I've never tried it. To me, it sounds very unfair to do this, but I can't say I wouldn't do it if I had to have an item that badly and wanted to save some $. Worse thing that would happen would be that you could return the item on or after BF and get a full refund, but may not be able to repurchase the item.
  6. The 22" is available at BB right now, for $499.99. I looked at it today, unfortuneately, the store only had 4 boxes that I could find plus the display unit. Hope there will be more...
  7. I think the ad mentioned that Home Theater over $??? would be a special 18-month finance. Whether they consider a TV in this category is a guess, unless its in the fine print.
  8. I went last year. Each person is limited to one of the same item, but you can get all the specials you want...as long as it is one of each. Having someone else there is the only way to go if you want to get two of the same item. My experience last year. I showed up at 1:00am, but I was about the 30th (or higher) in line at that time. People were there before 11:00pm to start lining up. Not many more showed up until around 3:00am, then bus loads of people started showing up. By the 5:00am opening, the line zig-zagged through the parking lot and nearly into the street. Needless to say, I didn't get the two main items I wanted...the cheap computer and laptop. Tickets for the door busters were handed out around 4:00am, and all the tickets for the computer and laptop were handed out about 5 people in front of me. If you go, good luck. I personally won't be trying it this year. Anthony
  9. I noticed that the Razor E325S scooter is available only online for the sale. It seems that most if not all items have a little mouse symbol on them, just like this scooter. Does this mean they are available to be ordered online for this pricing?
