www.discountmugs.com has them blank for just over $2 each but then there's shipping:eek: Also found some at Kohl's on sale(they're cute too!) 4pk for $10.19 and if you find a coupon code or use a Kohl's charge you may be able to save even more and the shipping seems more reasonable.

My DD4 did this too! She said "that's just what I always wanted" for everything! It was too cute! I love this age! :) One miss we had that was surprising was the Bratz mansion. She did say it was "just what she always wanted" but then added that it wasn't Barbie and hasn't bothered with it since! Maybe if I take it out and set it up she'll change her mind? Or should I return it? I DID get the Amazon deal for $30 w/ FS so I'd hate to return it for the more expensive Barbie one! Any suggestions?

My dad and stepmom did the exact same thing this year! Money in DD4's acct that they have set up so they can give her the statement when she's 18 and say "this is why we didn't get you alot of presents all those years" and then they got her a Dora bike. She loved it and they picked it out on their own which does make them happy so it's a win win for everyone.

I usually give people a general idea when they ask. I don't give specifics. DD is into polly pockets, barbie, disney princesses, etc. So when someone asks what to get her I just tell them anything in that area. I do that for myself too. If someone asks what I need/want I just tell them I love candles, bath products, picture frames etc. That way it gives them ideas but still free to pick out what they want to get (without feeling like you are telling them) and then they know where to start. Plus if you honestly don't know the budget then you don't want to make someone feel obligated to buy out of their price range.

I saw some on clearance at F.Y.E the other day. They were right in the front of the store if you have one near you!

My DD will be getting lots of polly stuff too! Those coupons went a long way this year. She is probably getting enough presents for 3 kids but I actually spent less then I normally do because of Amazon and all the great deals! Plus I am saving some gifts for other holidays and birthdays.

Last year I got a bunch of small xmas candy dishes from the target dollar spot right when you walk in and I bought bags of xmas candy and put some candy in each dish and wrapped it with cellophane and a red curly ribbon. They ended up being under $2 each.
