Walmart is .33 a card for in store pick up. You upload your picture, add a border, add some words- DONE. I uploaded my picture Wednesday night, received a call Friday that they were done. Beautiful !!

How about volunteering at a shelter, helping out a food pantry or visiting a nursing home. There are a lot of older people at nursing homes that no visitors at the holidays. This can all be done as a family.

We just did our Christmas picture last night. My dd had a girl scout event and Santa was there. I had both girls sit on his lap, snapped the picture, uploaded it to walmart, they will be ready early next week.

I have 2 daughters age 10 & 4. They both still believe. My 10yo asked me last year and this year if there really is a Santa, and I tell her yes, and then she is fine. She also questions the tooth fairy and Easter Bunny being real. I am afraid when she finds out there really is no Santa she will tell her sister just to spite her LOL.

My daughters teacher is really into her dogs. I was thinking about getting her a petco or petsmart gift card. Or should I get her a gift, and include something for her dogs (like a bone or treat). I am getting her mail teacher a best buy gift card. How much for a gift card is appropriate?

What a great thread !! I got so many good ideas !! I really like our mailman. He always has a bag of lollipops for the kids. They love getting the mail from him. I really like the idea of getting beer for the trash men. I don't really know them, but they do a good job. They take everything and leave no mess I am getting a fast food gift card for the mailman.

I do LOL. I just went to the hairdressers, was there 2+ hours, and 4yo DD was soooo good, when we got home I gave her a present. I usually buy way to much for her anyway.

WOW- I didn't get a coupon in my Sunday paper. I didn't even had the KB ad in my paper. I am keeping my eye on these also for my DD

How about taking your own. Every year I always paid someone to take the picture and make the card. Now I take my own (either in front of the tree, outside, etc...) My neighbor will come over if I want to be in it also. Then I take it to Walmart and print my own. They come out so nice, and cheap.

I also buy my family matching jammies. They look great for the Christmas morning pictures. I have bought at Childrens Place for the kids (never saw adult pj's there before), but I am ordering them this year. Also, Jc Penneys or Jc Penney Outlets has matching kid jammies (at least for girls). THey are the same ones I bought my girls last year.

just left our local kmart. They still had an entire aisle left of halloween costumes and 90% off. The highest I paid was $3.49. Great sizes and selection left. I bought both my girls costumes for dress up for Christmas.
