How about a donation to a charity in his name. When my cousin passed away, a lot of people made donations in her name to the local animal shelter she was fond of - the shelter sent a card to her parents making them aware of the donations made in her name.

Me too. My dd5 will be a Daisy in the fall, and dd10 will be a Jr. for another year. I signed up to lead the Daisy troop next year, as it will be a new troop. Years ago, I was a leader, and a co-leader of daughters brownie troop.
