  1. Nope. I got the BF ad and the 11/27 - 12/1 ad.
  2. Since we don't get a paper on Thanksgiving, all of our ads will be in this afternoon's paper. Can't wait!

  4. Thanks SO much for the heads up! I ordered DS (4) one and used a $10 GC. $20 for a nice Christmas gift makes Momma happy
  5. Eat lunch and then drive 1.5 hours back home trying not to fall asleep, lol.
  6. Last year our area didn't have a doorbuster sale for BB and WM is open 24 hours, so no camping out needed. We went to Denny's at 3am and ate breakfast while going over the ads and getting our coffee fix. After hitting the stores that morning, we ate lunch around 1pm at a mexican restaurant before heading home. We also kept snacks in the van to munch on between stores.
  7. My best moment was when the guy working in the electronics dept. at WM opened the glass cabinets and sold us Gameboys with the brighter screen for the sale price instead of making us wait in line for the intended Gameboys. That move put us first in line at the checkout with our other stuff!
  8. At my Walmart they handed out the new ones (behind the glass) while waiting for the blitz ones to come out of the backroom. At checkout it rang up $79, I mentioned the price difference and the csm came over and adjusted it. There were 15-20 of us in electronics that got these so I hope they were paying attention when they were rung up!
  9. I tried this last Christmas. WM online had the Little Tykes toolbench $30 cheaper than my local WM. I took a printout to the store hoping to get the same price but the mgr. said that WM doesn't compete against itself.
  10. I put batteries in all of DS's toys before I wrapped them. It saves time. Plus one of his toys (Hummer) needs an 8 hour charge. I'd rather have my 3 year old happy on Christmas morning rather than disappointed that he'll have to wait all day to play with his new toy.
  11. It's a stuffed animal that comes with a marker. You can color on it, throw it in the washer & color some more.
  12. Our tree is finished and about 1/2 of our inside decorations are up. DH is on the roof stringing lights now.
  13. It depends if BB has doorbusters in our area next year. If not, probably 2am at Walmart again.
  14. I'm definitely sending away for some next year! I also read about how some people had no problems using the Kaela font instead of handwriting the envelopes. I've downloaded it and will try a few next year to see if it works. It sure would save time
  15. That's how it was at our Walmart too. There were only a handful of people wandering around at 2am so we were able to get everything we wanted. About 4am the place was packed.
  16. We got a new tv & hooked it up as soon as we got home. We also got some family board games & will be wrapping those up. I like the look of LOTS of presents under the tree :)
  17. Our Walmart was wonderful! They brought out the pallets (unwrapped) at 3am. You could put the items in your cart, but the checkout lines didn't open until 5am. My friend and I got everything on our list & were the first ones out the door at 5:07am :) Here's my loot- Walmart: 2 Little People sets Cabbage Patch newborn Gameboy SP Gameboy Scooby Doo game 2 crock pots (rang up $3.03 each!) RC Hummer Mens jeans Target: Big Wheel Clue game Ants in your pants game Kmart: Law & Order game Best Buy: 32" tv
  18. No sleep here. I've been up since 5am and will definitely crash when I come home tomorrow!
  19. I see a monitor (17" flat CRT) for $159, but not a computer system. Is that what you were looking at?
  20. Where are you at? I live in Poplar Bluff, but was going to drive to Cape for the emachine but the online ad for Cape shows no doorbusters. Where are you seeing the emachine for $159?
  21. No doorbusters here either!!!! The closest BB is 1.5 hours away and we were leaving tonight at 11pm for the eMachine :( I've got $200 in BB Bucks, so I have to get something!
  22. I got there at 6:30 and was 12th in line. I got 2 GB games (they didn't get in Ms. Pac Man or Chase), a RC Jeep for $9.99, 2 games & a racetrack. I went to Walmart to pricematch the 2 GB games that Kmart didn't get in & my Walmart doesn't carry them. I looked at the GBSP and noticed that the one I put in layaway last week is the brighter screen version, so I doubt that will be the $48 one
  23. WTH? When I enter my zip online I see the BF ad, a page of BF electronics and the new toy page, all next to each other and you click which one you want to view up close. The laptop price on the first (big) ad is $488 but right next to it on the electronics page it shows it for $378. I'm not after the laptop, but it just doesn't make sense.
