  1. I take all our own photos :) At the mall, we are always allowed to take our own photos.
  2. I used to work for USPS and delivered TONS of packages around the holidays. If they don't require a signature, we were told to leave them at the door, if they could fit inside the mailbox, we could leave them there. WHen leaving them at the door, I always knocked. Thankfully there were never reports of packages missing or taken.
  3. We watch Christmas movies all year long....my favorite being Christmas Vacation...the kids love Elf and Home Alone.
  4. All the outside stuff is out and the tree is up. Still need to do the inside decorating...one of these days!
  5. Many stores have 50% off all thier Christmas decor the day after Christmas. I am planning on getting my 7.5 ft. slim prelit tree then!
  6. Over $250 at Meijer (closer to $300 though). Not sure about Target...never figured it out! Old Navy--saved over $30 on my coat...it was on sale plus my discount
  7. Hubby has been collecting the Dukes of Hazzard seasons and has all 4 right now so that's $30....like getting one free. I wish That 70's Show was a part of this rebate thing!!!
  8. I have soooo many strands of lights on my tree....a couple of them have a control box and you can have the lights do different things. I liked that most were solid and a few blinkie however!!! my crazy kitty goes bonkers when the lights flash so I had to switch them all to solid non-blinking! lol
  9. Are you "crafty" in any way?
  10. Disney Christmas stuff! I have alot of snowmen too---more than Santas.
  11. Oh I'd love to see pics!! I didn't bring my camera since we didn't have to stand in line at Meijer (open 24 hours!).
  12. Our's buy for each other as well as for me and hubby.
  13. Usually on Christmas Eve....I am such the procrastinater!!
  14. Anyone have the inside scoop on what exactly will be on sale?? I'm looking for good sales on video games, DVD's and CD's.
  15. Same amount of gifts, not $$ wise. If we did it $$ wise, we'd end up spending a small fortune since my son is older and his "wants" are more expensive than what my daughter wants since she's alot younger.
  16. It was worth it in my opinion! Of course, I didn't get trampled on or in any fights, lol.

    Talking In Line

I'd rather talk to people in line than just stand there silently! We usually have a group of us who go so we jibberjabber the entire time.
  18. We bought Season 3 of That 70's Show and are waiting til Christmas and will wrap it and stick it under the tree. DH bought me a nice coat and scarf from Old Navy but I got that right away :D
  19. I am sooo glad we didn't go to Walmart. I really wanted to at first but am glad I didn't! We went on BF about 2 years ago and it was unbelievable! People were just NUTS! Climbing on top of displays, throwing things, pushing people, grabbing stuff out of others baskets, etc!
  20. We don't go by setting a dollar limit on each child, but make sure they have about the same amount of gifts to open. It just seems more "fair" this way I guess and it works for us!
  21. Meijer wins hands down! We were there at 3:30am and got everything we wanted. No standing in the freezing cold for us there! We were the first people to check out at 5:01am Target comes in a close second! Even though it was a major traffic jam inside the store, everyone was friendly, we helped some people out, and the employees were great! We waited in line there for maybe 10 minutes max!
  22. I'm pretty much done. I'd like to get my daughter a Cabbage Patch doll and my son a few Star War figures yet. Oh, and stocking stuffers! I usually wait til the last minute (Christmas Eve!) to get those! lol
