Will walmart price match a hastings ad or HEB ad? hastings has a refurb ipod touch for 159.xx and HEB has the ipod touch for 169.xx(not a refurb) both are the 8gb version like walmarts.

Just saw someone posted they went and bought the ipod touch today and that it was part of their secret sale today....is this true???? is this all walmarts?

Can we bring in a camping chair to sit on inside the store? All we want is the 32" Emerson tv...and dh was going to get in line for it and wait..but geez..if he's waiting for up to 5hrs..it would be nice to be able to bring in his own little chair to sit on. Would they allow that?

I thought walmart will price adjust if you have bought within 7 days of something going on sale? I bought a few things last year a few days before..and just brought my reciepts in to customer service and they had no problem in price adjusting(giving me back the difference from what I paid, to what it was on sale for on bf. I just had to adjust during the bf hours..after 11am no price adjustments for bf prices.

I have a question...is the emerson tv in the bf ad the same one they have on the shelves already for 347.00 or something like that?? I was wondering if it was, I could buy the tv now and get a price adjustment...or will they have a special pallet of those tv's on bf?? Anyone have a model number on the one for sale on bf??

What time does the sale end today? is it an all day thing? I didn't have them check the price on the tv...I just saw the shelf price and thought it wasn't on sale..but apparently there arent any sale tags on them???

So did anyone's WM have any of these on sale? I went today and they didn't have a Vizio for 248.00 at all. It was regular priced.

Just bought my Samsung set at Lowes this morning!!!! I didn't get the pedestals yet as I only brought in money from cashing my last 6 paychecks yesterday. LOL So I'll get those this week if I have enough left from BF. They are delivering them on Wed afternoon! WOOT!

Do the Sears stores open only one set of doors upon opening or do they open all their entrance doors to the store? Ours is located at a mall and there are 3 entrances to the store from the outside...I was planning on getting there early and standing at the appliance entrance door to be closest to the appliances. Anyone have experiences with their sears?

The Victoria TX ON was no better. I think they opened at 10..as we got there at 10:00 and they were all in a huge pile(the people) fighting over ONE DOLLAR flip flops!!!! I just stood there shaking my head. One lady in the front against the shoes..had her arms FULL..and I mean FULL..like at LEAST 20 pairs in her arms if not more. The workers kept yelling at her and her friends and threatened to call security. I started laughing out loud....I said..."this is ridiculous...security and 1.00 flip flops." Several ladies agreed with me too. The worker brought a ladder and ended up calling security after all. The lady and her friends had SEVEN old navy shopping bags full of shoes. BUT...ON played it smart for the hoggers...when they went to check out...they only let them check out 5 pair and told them they had to go back to the end of the line and check out five more and do that over and over until they checked them all out. They could NOT do five at a time for them. I'm so happy they did that. Several ladies got P*SSED and dropped their shopping bags right in line and walked off. The lady with the seven bags..checked out five pair and went to the end...she was not happy at all. One lady told me she talked to her and found out she was buying them all to decorate them and take them to Padre Island and sell them down there this summer. She said she always does that. I figured she was gonna do that or had her own business that she'd sell them at. Don't know if she ever made it out or not. After we checked out with the few we wanted, she was trying to ask moms if she could borrow their kids to help her pay for her shoes so she wouldn't have to do it all herself...no one would even look at her. LOLOLOLOL

At the Victoria TX target...I nabbed a ###Deni Meat slicer 18.xx from 73.xx### ###Oster Party Serving Tray with Electric Warming Pot 7.48 from 24.99### ###Oster Electric Cheese Grater 7.87 from 31.49### They had a nice coffee maker there too for 32.xx cant remember the name..started with an S (not senseo) and I debated on it back and forth...but it was a display and the lid really didn't close correctly..so I passed on it. They also had about 3 of the Europro toaster ovens down to 11.xx too and some food processors, a cool touch deep fryer and other stuff 75% off.

OMG....dh and I went first thing this morning...waiting 10 min for them to open. All of a sudden..all these women get out of their cars as soon as the doors start opening and it was a flashback of black friday! LOLOLOL I followed them inside to see what all the buzz and rush was and followed them ALL to the purses! OMG...it was hilarious! Everyone was grabbing a purse that was on a lock down hanger and holding on for dear life until a salesperson could unlock it...they were Coach purses. Then I saw how good of a deal they were and bought myself a small one with a matching little wallet for loose change/ID's for when dh and I go out to eat together. Once I get out of the store and meet dh at the van...he has a bag for me...he bought me a large Coach purse! In red too! Its gorgeous and I was so excited. Now I have two Coach purses! He told me that was my anniversary present..our 20th anniversary is on Jan. 14th. So I gave him my gift I had just bought at Dillards for him..a beautiful fossil watch that was on clearance for 130.xx, but with the additional 50% off..it cost me 65.00 plus tax! My very first Coach purses! I'll be better prepared this year when they do it again. Do they do this sale once or twice a year?

LOL I just found my receipt in my old coat I was about to toss in my garage sale pile. Felt something crunchy in the pocket and pulled it out. It was dated 1/1/08 and it was my receipt for all the 75% off Christmas stuff I bought! LOLOL So Victoria probably won't go 75% till Thursday for us because when I went today..they had SO MUCH stuff left...literally! I mean like at the back of the store..there was still the whole back corner wall, then the four aisles in front of all that...then around the corner was about three more aisles of all the other stuff like candy, stockings, etc. so I don't see them doing 75% probably till thursday...which would be fine with me as I'm off that day. hee hee

Victoria TX was still at 50%. I heard one employee asking another when were they going to 75% off but the other guy didn't know and told him to contact so&so. So not sure when they are. I drove 35miles to find this out. LOLOLOL Oh well...nothing I saw that really wanted even at 75% off anyhow.

Just checking in to see if anyones stores are at 75% off or if it will be tomorrow. I'm thinking tomorrow since todays online ad is saying Christmas is 50% off. I just didn't want to drive 35miles to check if their 75% off today and then its not. Hopefully tomorrow.

Okay, when I go to the Online deals forum and click to view the last page of the Amazon deals thread(the one with 800+ posts...I get a microsoft error popup that says that page can't be found..but the page is right there! And is says operation aborted. I go to click cancel or the X...then it takes me to a "page cannot be found"..so I have to double click back, and when I click it again...same thing. Its been happening for two days ONLY on that thread. Makes no sense. None of the other pages do it. Anyone????

You know...I'm tired. You make me tired I even come here to tell my experience and what I'm going thru. You come onto these threads..and this isn't the first time you've come into a thread I've started and just seem so....I don't know. Sometimes people come here so they can write down their experiences in the hopes of getting it off their chest to feel better and maybe someone will just say, I'm sorry you had to go thru that. Period. I just have to ask..why is it that you feel the need to always push the needle in a little deeper? I'm not angry with UPS..I'm not angry with the driver...I will say I'm a scared becuase of the way I was approached in my workplace and laid in to like he did...but once again, you decide to post and make one feel like they are in the wrong for even going thru what they did or feeling the way they do. Thanks. Folks...I won't be posting on this anymore. I just wanted a little support and friends that could understand what happened and pat me on the back and say, it will be okay and the way he handled it was wrong. Yes, I said the mayor is calling in "as the business owner"...not as the mayor. So maybe I shouldn't have said he is the mayor..I'm sorry..but thats what he is, he was the mayor first and a business owner next.

I don't believe he did it either. Thats why I didn't call accusing anyone of anything. I only called to let them know where and how and the condition of the package. I was honest and told them nothing was missing. I didn't know it was my regular driver that delivered it as we had a temp deliver a package last week to us at 7pm. I trust our regular ups driver. My complaint now is how he reacted to the situation and just came in and was very abrupt, loud, and very rude to me in front of another employee and other customers. There was no reason for him to act this way in public. When he came in all he had to say was, "mrs. carrasco, may I have a word with you? I just wanted to let you know that I left your package on the porch, not under it and I have no idea what happend to the package. But maybe it would be a good idea for someone to sign for packages from now on." But instead, he decided he was ticked and came in still mad and made sure he was going to put me in my place. It makes me wonder if the supervisor told him I made an accusation that they opened my package or what. I never said anything remotely close to that...for the mere fact that I didn't know WHO may have done it. I'm not going to accuse anyone when I don't know. But I will bring it to someone's attention of whats going on.

Just how? He is the owner of the business. Its not like he's going to call up ups and say, "hello...this is Mayor so and so, I'm calling in to report a complaint......" I think he is a little smarter than that. And he only said he would be able to talk to the driver when he comes in to the office for a pick up. Not like he's on a tractor driving all over our little town trying to hunt the ups driver down. He is doing what he feels he needs to do to defend his employees...no different than if the ups driver came into city hall and harrassed his secretary or the bill collector in water department inside of city hall...They all work int he same building and his secretary is his employee.

You did not read my post correctly. NO ONE CALLED the mayor. The mayor is also Lori's(my boss) husband..and he is ALSO THE OWNER OF THE CAFE with her. So he has EVERY RIGHT as the owner of the cafe to step in. Are you telling me that as the owner of the cafe, he has no right to contact the supervisor of the ups driver and report that his driver came in to HIS place of business and harrassed his employee? I hope not.
