Is there a forum for Academy Bf or do they not do a BF sale? Hubby wants to know. I didn't see one for this store in the store specific.

We don't know much about either really. We currently have a 60" RCA projection tv that we are getting ready to sell. Dh wants to sell it and use the money towards a new [smaller] tv. But we want HDTV built in and can't decide between a plasma or lcd. We love the way the plasma is...great viewing from wide range of angles in the room, and the LCD is nice too, but...and it may just be me....but it like our projection tv...when you get to the side of it, it goes dark, unlike the plasma. So is that the difference between them? I told him anything from a 32" to a 42" would be nice...this 60" is nice..but a HUGE pita to move.

Already..cmon..this waiting is sooooooo monotonous!

One per HOUSEHOLD???? Is that right? So...if I'm buying one for myself and dh is with me with money from my cousin...are they not going to let us get them? are they gonna ask for ID from us prior to giving us tickets??? We're planning on camping..so I need to know.

BB is definately an all nighter..so go prepared! We took sleeping bags to sit on and cover up with last year..this year we're bringing our camping chairs cause we had some sore rears by morning! LOL sleeping bags to zip up in while sitting in the chairs, thermos of hot cocoa, eats, and our portable dvd player to keep us entertained until its time. people were really nice at letting everyone go put their stuff back in the cars and get back in line. we got there at 9pm last year.

We'll be camping out at Best buy AGAIN this year. ayiyiyiyi but I want another desktop...we got the emachines desktop last year after camping out all night..dh and I were 3rd and 4th in line ALL night. lol That computer is still going strong..but I hate the CRT monitor...so huge. So my girls will get this one and I'll be getting the new one for this year! woo hoo...now all I'll need is a wireless router.

Stopped at Sugarland TX super target and hit great bargains today! Got two costumes for my daughter and son for next year at 75%off...all halloween was 75% off. Got stocking stuffers at the dollar spot that were all 75% off too(.25 each). Then found some jersey knit twin size sheet sets marked down to 6.24 so got the last two of those and found two more twin sheet sets(250 thread count) for 6.24, got 600tc sateen flat sheet marked down from 29.99(king size) to 7.48(and I bought a fitted one of these last wednesday for a freaking 20.98GRRRRRR..but this matches..needed the up to 17" mattress fit, my mom picked up a cute pink digital camera for my oldest daughter for xmas that was 49.99 and marked down to 34.xx and also the matching carry case for it marked down to 6.24(really cute, pink with faux rhinestones on it). Got 7 halloween tshirts that say "My sister is a witch" My brother's a monster" I [heart] halloween(and there is a skull with crossbones in the heart), and "Hangin' Out"(that has a web with little spiders hanging down from it). It was a good stop off from heading back home 90 miles from houston!!

We found a Leapster LMax, sealed in original box marked down from 99.00 to 30.00. It was the only one.

anyone know what kind of dvd burner I can buy that comes with a program to create montages on dvd? where i can put my photos and music all on the dvd..and maybe subtitles on the screen too? Needs to be affordable. Nothing fancy..I'm no professional...just want something to play around with and would love to transfer my photos from cdrom to dvd with music and maybe titles.

My daughter Jadyn broke her arm on ours 2 years ago. I was gone with my other daughter to her dance class and Jadyn wanted to stay and play with her cousins. My mil and sil were supposed to be watching them. Both were in the houses as I understand and my sils two daughters and Jadyn were on the trampoline with no adult supervision. Jadyn was in 1st grade as was one of the cousins, a first grader too. The older one was in 4th grade I believe. From what I understand is, the oldest cousin was laying on the trampoline and letting her sister and my daughter sit on her feet and she was kicking them off into the air. But when my daughter went to sit on her feet, she held on to Jadyn's ankles and when she kicked her up into the air, she never let go of her ankles and Jadyn came straigt down on her elbows. The pressure of the landing was too much for her(she only weighed about 37lbs then) and it snapped her upper arm in two. The break was so high(near the arm pit) that they couldn't cast it. she was in a sling for 6 weeks with elastic banding to keep her arm braced against her body. They said they just heard a blood curling scream and ran out to see what happened. I was called on my cell and I drove like a mad woman home! Rushed her to the ER to find out it was a clean break. I had never been so livid!! Where was the supervision??? Sorry...sore subject. End of story...I sold the trampoline a week later.

Dh gets his the payday before Christmas..as he's paid every Wednesday.

I ordered saturday night..well sunday morning at 2am. LOL. I placed one 109.00 order and then another 30.00 order BEFORE I saw the codes...bummer! Anhow I got 2 skirts 2 denim jackets 4 skorts 4 pair of shoes(sandals and flip flops) 4 tank tops 2 pull over shirts 2 belts 3 shorts and 2 dresses I think that was it. might me missing something. Also, asked dh if I could apply for a place card for him..LOL. he said go for it and he was approved. We're having a garage sale tomorrow and it will pay off the total so he has a 0 balance again. my sale isn't until tomorrow..but people were stopping this evening and i made 194.00 already! lol

I was just checking my bank account online and remember those anniversary bears from spiegel we got for like 1.xx and free shipping code?? Well, my account was charged 14.95 the other day from someplace calle Privaledge Pass with a 877 number. I called it and it said "thank you for calling customer service" and I had no idea who i called. Comes to be that when I checked out, I guess in some small print, it signed me up for some crap privaledge pass for travel and such...well, we don't travel. she cancelled my membership and I demanded my 14.95 back and she is refunding it to my account. Check your statements!!! If you were unaware of it. She asked if i recieved my welcome packet...but I never did. just a heads up!

can someone check the papers for me? are they acid/lignin free and buffered? only asking because I use creative memories but would love to find more affordable papers to use. and the closest michaels to me is about 70miles away.

i'm already under a one year contract with cingular..so i don't wan to sign up for a longer one just to get the phone. lol. plus, its my dad's account, we have the family share plan. my dad, mom, me and my husband all share the plan. so, really, i just want one of these phones without having to resign another contract. i want to finish this one first. lol

Camping stuff was 75% off at the Victoria TX target! I got 5 youth Greatland sleeping bags for 2.48 each and they had the adult ones for 7.48(only 50%off) but turned the corner and they had the Eddie Bauer ones with a tote bag and cover shell and the sleeping bag marked for 7.48 from 29.99! Camping totes for 4.98. On the kids part, they had these child tents...one was a turtle for 6.19 from 24.99 and the princess castle tents for girls that sleep 2-3 kids for 13.98 from 25.xx. In the restore and restyle, they had full size sheet sets in flannel, winter print, pink with snowmen and blue with snowflakes for 50% off at 9.98.

My daughters really want furbies so I need to find two. Cheapest I've found was in the b&m stores for 29.99. Anyone see them anywhere cheaper or with coupon codes????

Wow. What can I say? Here I sit after waking up from a 2hr nap. I got home this morning at 9am..having been awake for exactly 27hrs straight. UGH..how do doctors do it? lol. I'm so utterly exhausted and sore in places I never knew existed. BUT...I got my emachine and I got my mp3 player. I got to the Victoria Texas BB at 9pm. Me, dh and my sis in law were the very first to arrive. We were just about to leave to head to walgreens when a car came whipping around the corner. So we ended up getting out and setting up for the night. I was #3 in line. The other car was a brother and sister team...very nice and fun!!! So they were #1 and 2 and then me, my sis in law and my hubby. Then the fun began. One by one everyone started coming in 10 min intervals. You can tell they werent' prepared to stay when they pulled up and asked if we were spending the night then running home to drop off kids and such and racing back. Within 2hrs, there were 40+ people in line. OH, and at 10pm, our local news Channel 25 showed up...to interview us and film us!!! We were all psyched and waving and such. I had my sleeping bag and pillow and cover and I was all waving and hyped. I even got out and took some digital pics of our line,I will post as soon as I recover. Everyone was really nice and we watched out for each other..we all let each other leave to drive to a store or for food or to walmart to buy a blanket and such or stretch legs. It was really nice. Now i don't know how next year will go..cause by the time the store opened and we were in the checkout line..there were a LOT of Ticked off people that didn't get tickets. But they didn't arrive till like 3am. So next year may be worse. It was a rough night by "camping out" on sidewalks...but I lived thru it. It was an experience I'll never forget. OH..and the best thing??? After waiting in the checkout line for 2hrs...when i finally got to the front, it was my turn to go up...there was a geek squad team before the checkout...which I THOUGHT were gonna try one more time to sell me the set up package for 119.00..but nope. They asked me to sign and address a "preset up" package invoice. I was like, "whats that mean" since I was by then only operating on one brain cell. then he tells me that since they didn't sell enough of the "geek squad" pakages, they had pre set up some of the emachines with norton anti virus and such and I get mine already pre setup for FREE. HECK YEAH I'm taking it!! But my sis in law behind just got a regular emachine and they didn't offer her a preset up one. Were they just skipping around with the people to make it fair? So, what EXACTLY do you get on the preset up emachine then?? Cause I'm so brain fried I don't know and want to know what they did to the computer...thanks!

also, i have a sony cybershot dsc-s75 digital camera, will this computer be compatible with it? Or does it matter? just want to be able to use my camera on it. beable to upload my pics to it for sharing.

ok..i'm in no way a techie..but i have a question. if i buy the emachine with 256ram...can i buy the ram off newegg that someone posted for <18.00 and install it myself? is that right? then it will become a 512ram computer? what about the gigabytes? will i need to up that too or will it be fine if i upgrade the ram and leave the gigabyte with what the puter comes with. sorry...i'm a mom of 3 and can do the basic stuff. lol I just use it for internet and tinkering around on...so thats why i'm not in the market for a higher priced computer. my first computer was an offbrand from sams club for 500.00 and had it for 5yrs..its till running, but my aunt has it now..only 16mg on it.LOL. Then this one i have now, its an HP with windows me on it and has only 64mg on it...but I've had it 5yrs too and only paid 498.00 for it. So I don't mind getting another 149.00 computer that is actually worth 499.00.
