  1. Happy December! I have two more outside decorations to put up and I need to decorate tree #2; it’s been up since Black Friday. I would like to start wrapping but I don’t like any of the wrap that I have. So it’s looking like all new wrapping this year.
  2. No B&M stores for me but I made several online purchases: Target Red Card Early Access Wednesday NBA 2K20 Several gift sets at 30% off Dick’s Sporting Goods Adidas hoodie Nike hoodie 2 hydro flasks Best Buy Toy Story 4 blu-ray 2 Apple Watch bands Walmart Secret Life of Pets 2 blu-ray Nike Air Max 97 Hollister 2 pairs of jeans @ 50% off I don’t plan on walking into a store until tomorrow morning for Target’s deal on Christmas decor and wrapping.
  3. I did this very thing last year. It was not a nightmare per say but it was frustrating. The store I went to decided that they were going to allow people to put their names on a list Thursday night while they were open. Those of us who didn’t shop there Thanksgiving night had no idea so we were there, in line, prior to opening but there was an entire list of people ahead of us. The process was slow initially and did not pick up until the second worker arrived. It was after 9 when I finally left the store. As usual, the people in line can make or break a shopping experience and I was surrounded by a great group. I was second in the morning line and we all allowed each other to switch out for restroom breaks, other shopping, etc.
  4. All gifts are stashed in the locked closet in the basement. The basement is our movie room so when it’s time to wrap, I just pull the gifts out, put on a Christmas movie, and get to work. I have been using Santa’s Bag on my iPhone to track what the kids want, if it’s been purchased, ordered, wrapped, etc.
  5. I usually decorate the inside Thanksgiving weekend and the outside whenever I get a nice day from 11/15 on, lol. I am undecided on what I want to put outside this year so I need to figure out a game plan so I can be ready when the weather is.
  6. I went ahead and picked up a gift card to cover a few things that I know I will be purchasing there over the next few weeks.
  7. I cancelled my prime a few years back but received the booklet yesterday. DD9 took it and said it was toys for babies, lol. I haven’t had a chance to look through it.
  8. You won’t see a price drop on that as it’s newly released. The best bet would be having it bundled with a game or possibly a gift card with purchase.
  9. I lucked up a few weeks ago and got the Explore Air 2 (one on sale at Amazon) for $139.00 at Walmart. The mint and denim colors were on clearance. I love it!! And it was an absolute steal at that price! I feel like they may have been $199 last year on Black Friday.
  10. Received my kit a few days ago; no gift card. Thanks, Brad!!
  11. I’m in! Anxiously waiting for Target’s ad.
  12. Just ordered my usual towels and wash cloths, threw in an electric toothbrush for DD9 as she is about to start phase one in braces. I was able to stack a 20% and 15%; made $15 in Kohl’s cash (that I will forget to use [emoji23]). My Kohl’s shopping is done!
  13. Due to streaming, I no longer purchase movies/tv shows for myself. I do still pick up movies for DD9; I prefer those in the blu-ray/digital combo packs.
  14. Black Friday 2006, KayBee Toys was my first stop. I was in such a rush when the mall opened the doors (you then had to stand in line at the store before they actually opened), that I hopped out and locked my car (manual locks only). Only problem is my keys were still in my car [emoji33] I didn’t even waste time thinking of my options, I went and got in line and got all of the things I was there for. While in line, I had my future DH go to my mom’s house and drop my spare keys off on his way to work. I now make a point of placing keys in my crossbody before exiting the car, lol.
  15. I am looking for laptops for both DS12 and DD9. They had chrome books from Walmart or Best Buy a few years ago and they both need a little more power; nothing too fancy though. I’ve been considering refurbished MacBooks but I’m keeping all my options open.
  16. South Jersey has a projected high of 92 today. I’m sitting in my family room in the air, drinking hot apple cider because it’s October [emoji260][emoji262][emoji261] on the bright side, tomorrow’s high is 64.
  17. We have a projected high of 91 tomorrow [emoji849] I am over the heat and so ready for a cool-down.
  18. Brad, I’m pretty sure I never missed a month but I haven’t received a PM...
  19. I am looking for laptops for my two youngest to replace the chrome books they currently have. I am also hoping for a deal on a Cricut maker, possibly a bundle, so that I can finally pull the trigger and not feel too much buyer’s remorse.
  20. Order pickup is becoming my preferred Target shopping method. It helps eliminate those impulse buys [emoji4] I’m looking forward to this because I am a big cartwheel user.
  21. Our chest freezer is 12+ years old and I would love to get an upright one. It’s still rolling though and it would be harder to fit an upright in the space where the chest freezer currently is. One day though [emoji4]
  22. I don’t usually budget for Black Friday itself but I do have a Christmas shopping budget. If I am buying something household related that comes out of a separate pot. I have a Christmas club account so the money is already set aside. Like others mentioned; some years I knock out the bulk of shopping on Black Friday and other years not so much.
