  1. A cheap desktop hopefully (I'm getting a MacBook next week, so I won't be looking for a laptop).
  2. I'm had some good luck with eBay, I've gone through so many phones now it's amazing.
  3. For $600, it's a terrible deal. Other stores have similar marked for $200 less. I'd recommend either this or this.
  4. I'm with you 100%, never had I had a good experience with Dell.
  5. Great deal for just $13, bought one for... I don't even know, just couldn't pass this by :)
  6. They are having a very hard time competing with our local Lowes around here.
  7. On eBay about a month ago I bought ink from my printer off of eBay and the seller said that he'll talk about shipping after the auction ends. The price was pretty cheap and I thought it was a good deal, so I bought it. The guy wanted $20 to ship a package the size of a coffee mug when the ink itself only was $10.... I could of gone to Office Depot and got it for $15. I'm seriously outraged with what some of the power sellers are trying to pull.
  8. Dell tried this once before at a different store and it didn't go well, not so sure what makes them think second time is a charm.
  9. You can buy something like that without the 2 GB of RAM and would just have 1 GB for about $450 at OD or BB and then for around $30 if you know you to do your shopping right, you could get a 1 GB memory upgrade thus making the total 2GB.
  10. Go to your nearest music store and see tell them what you want. Also, if you are renting their saxophone, then you may be able to claim credit from that and put it toward the purchase. My son got his for no more then $200 and we saved well over $800.
  11. Personally, I do dislike Acer for several reason. Personally, I love Toshiba notebooks, so I almost only buy them however CC was having a very, very, good deal on an Acer display model so I bought it. It looked nice and clean but once I turned it on it made an eerie noise. After talking with very rude Acer support member I figured out the mother board died. So I sent it in to them and they replaced the motherboard though the touch pad felt like there were rocks under it when I got it back. So I call up Acer and they say they must have put in the wrong plastic under it or something along those lines. So I send it back in and when it gets returned the mouse doesn't work at all! I took it to CC, had a huge argument with the manager about it, NEVER buying an Acer again.
  12. When I had DSL they gave me a router with it. As for the card, try looking at Best Buy, you might get lucky and find something for at or under $30.
  13. With all due respect, when I walk in the door at a Wal Mart, not even the old man who hands out stickers smiles at my child. As another person (below your post) said most often these people can be over worked or pushed around by their managers thus putting them in a bad mood or simply are not motivated to do their job. While I'm not putting anyone down or intended to because I am close friends with a manager of a Target, he even said most of their workers that have been there for over two years are "not the most cheerful." What I do expect employees to do is to care about your concerns. If that is too much to ask for then I apologize for being unreasonable. I do know that there are some employees who do care and I give my sincerest regards to them if they had been offended but were I do the most of my shopping, most of them don't care at all about you.
  14. Have you ever been at Wal Mart, Target, or KMart? I'm sure you've seen how little the employee's care about you. I'm not saying that they are more of less of a person, but most people that I have dealed with, could personally care less about me and my issues I'm having with a product/service from that store and they only reason they lift a finger to do anything about it, if because it is their policy. While I'm sure there are some employees who do care and go out of there way to help people, quite frankly, I'm yet to see one(at least were I am).
  15. It’s an employee working at Target for at or close to minimum wage… what can you expect? I mean have you ever been at Wal-Mart, Target, or Kmart? I'm sure you've seen how little the employee's care about you. I'm not saying that they are more of less of a person, but most people that I have dealed with, could personally care less about me and my issues I'm having with a product/service from that store and they only reason they lift a finger to do anything about it, if because it is their policy. While I'm sure there are some employees who do care and go out of there way to help people, quite frankly, I'm yet to see one(at least were I am).
  16. Good all of you could get an adjustment.
  17. While I'm very glad most of you were able to get the adjustment, I'm sorry for those who were not. Could you state a little more detail about what went wrong? I'm making this thread so I can point out some flaws regarding Target's policy and ways to get around them so my FAQ thread next year can be better and for people to express their feelings regarding Target. I hope you will be able to return the $19.99 one with no issues:eyepoppin It can be inferred either way however I do understand you a bit more now. And I'm sure that would allow Target to know how many people were happy with their service and may lead them to believe it would be best if they kept it. I'm glad you were able to get your adjustment, reminds me of some issues I've had with Wal Mart in the past:yuck:
