Does anyone have any Christmas projects they want to share? I'm trying to get more ideas as I love making homemade gifts to go along with what I buy. I've already started creating individualized magnet sets for some of my family. They can be used with whatever theme you decide to create. I'm trying to make each set indivdualized toward whoever I'm giving the magnets to. Is there something you have made or make yearly at Christmas that you can share? I'm trying to get more ideas here before the Christmas season is upon us! :)

Well, I worked on a youtube video(the first one I've ever made) and it took me forever to figure out how to upload it (I'm retarded, I swear lol) and THEN it came out fuzzy:mad:. I was working at my local Sporting Goods stores a few BF's ago. I somehow got stuck selling those Heeley skate shoes. Anyhow, of course they were on sale and I was supposed to be selling extra warranties on them. It was extremely busy and I remember I was in the middle of telling some lady she should buy the warranty when her 12 year old son, (who was large for his age), barrelled in to me while he was trying out the skate shoes. He knocked me into a huge tower of shoe boxes and once the shoes were out of the boxes it was mayhem. The boxes and shoes were everywhere, I had a ton of bruises from the fall and noone was able to find the shoes they wanted. Most of the shoes had fallen out of the boxes so it was a nightmare figuring out what shoes went where. Moral of the story-do everything in your power not to work BF! :)

Wow, you all were lucky you got maps. At my Walmart, you just had to guess where everything was and you can imagine the mass chaos that ensued all over the store when the pallets were unwrapped lol! Our strategy is also to station people around the store, but noone knows who's gonna grab what, as it's all wrapped up and noone knows what's where! :0)

I won a shirt and drawstring bag, both of which I wear/use often. I think I won a contest about emailing local news stations and telling them about gottadeal.com. :0) I love this site!

I love your dvd idea. It's great! Could you imagine what those crazy crouds would do if you hid the doorbusters?! HaHAHA I could just see the clothes, groceries, toys, shoes, everything everywhere and the poor person that finds laptop #10? I can only imagine the fights/chaos that would happen!

Even though some local store managers told me my local Targets would be 90% off today, they are still at 75% off...that's what I get for getting up so darn early on a Sunday!

Hahaha. I've found out that my local Target stores will be going 90% off on Sunday. I've been calling my local Target stores (FL) with the same question. I just tell them I spoke to a manager who told me that they would be going 90%off on Saturday and asking if that's true. Two stores wouldn't tell me, but the 3rd transferred me to a manager who told me that they would on Sunday. Ok, so I lied a little to find out, but I'm dying to get a tree at 90% off!

I was at Walmart when they opened at 5am and I think the problem was that when the store unwrapped the movies, no one knew what titles were the 2 dollar, 6 dollar, 9 dollar, etc. I grabbed a few, but they all turned out to be 9 dollars, so I gave up. A ton of the stuff was not priced, which I think caused them to sell a lot less initially. I returned to Walmart at 6pm to see if I could get some of the 2 dollar movies. Almost everything was still in stock. They had at least 50 Blu-ray players left, the 4 dollar pajamas, 2 dollar movies and a ton of other blitz items! Of course, no TV's or 5 dollar toys, but a lot of great items were still available at the doorbuster price!

It's horrible. I heard on CNN that one of the people shot may have been a child. I'm praying that the child is ok! There still isn't much information on this incident, but it's terrible!

There was no immediate word of any relationship between the victims or what caused the shooting to erupt. Some employees and shoppers continued to be held nearly an hourly after the shooting, as authorities continued an investigation. At least one teenager was reportedly taken in custody. However, there was no immediate word why he was taken into custody or if he was involved in the shooting. The store's parking lot was surrounded by yellow police tape, keeping the public and reporters away.

Those jerks were outside and were the reason an innocent person was killed. I think each and every person should be criminally charged if they can be seen on the security camera trampling that poor man. I think it's this time of year that brings out the best and the absolute worst in people. It sickens me to see what some people will go through just to get a deal. A lot of selfish people were in that store today and should definately have some stiff consequences to their actions!

It seems so easy to do, but I've never heard of someone actually making their own! I'm really excited now to know that this can be done and as long as the thickness is the same, it shouldn't burn. I am thinking about making one for dessert on Christmas, but could not find a recipe online. Have any of you ever made one? I was thinking about buying the dough, but I'm not sure how I would go about creating one giant cookie. I'm afraid the edges would burn while the middle would still be uncooked. Any tips or ideas?

If my local Walgreens is a 24 hour location, can I take advantage of the Black Friday sale ahead of time? Say I went in at 5am, does anyone know if I could get the sales or if I would actually have to wait until the time it officially starts? Has anyone ever tried this?
