Not sure at this point. DD got braces, cheer fees, car fees, etc.... It has been a long year but I will pull something out the hat. Not sure on bonuses this year either. Last years bonus we did not get until end of first quarter this year so I cant count on that. So my BF budget maybe $5-700, but over all holiday maybe $1,200.00. But to be honest I really dont feel it yet and as the kids get older the list gets smaller but more expensive. So I will most likely play it by ear this year and she where all the chips fall.

I use it all the time and save up to use when I go BF shopping but this may be my last year. I do not like to load my cards on apps and give them access to everything I do. This is crazy. It is like giving them free access to your life and you are not getting paid for it. You are only getting the money back that you have already spent and nothing more. Where is the trade off on all of these things. We are giving away valuable information for free. Without it most of these companies will go under because they do not know how to operate with out free help from the public. .... okay I am taking a breathe now.

I was the same way but love the James Bond movies now. I liked the ones with Sean Connery the best Loved the Bourne movies when they first came out, then to me they went down hill. Still watched them all but the first 2 were the best.

Yes we do Christmas movies - Elf, Home Alone trilogy, Santa Clause series, Charlie Brown, Christmas with the cranks, etc .... We also do the tree and all the trimmings around the house as a family. We bake cookies, gingerbread house or train, and we always did the Christmas light show in out town and it was a big thing. There is coco stands and smores kits for the fire pits that are out. Can you tell it is my favorite time of the year..... OH...... I love this. Got to do this. Calling my brother.

Nice approach so if you dont list it, it is not an option to buy. That will take a lot of the headache out of the search. I dont want to stress out this year as I am counting down the years before my 1st DD turns 18 and trying to cherish every year before they are "grown"...

I LOVE MS.PRINDABLES APPLES..... One of my clients usually send some to the office around the holidays and it is the only time I am the first one at the snack table to collect one of each flavor. Okay so have to figure out whom will receive this on my list. Exactly. The older ones are the tricky ones. Some like money but others want an actual gift......I have a niece that just started college so I was thinking about something that could help her in her dorm room or studying...

I did gift cards last year and my nephews seemed disappointed and so I wanted to actually buy them something they would like. I might have to take them to the store and let them show me and then go back and buy it but with TRU now gone it only leaves a few places in my area.

That is so touching......now if I can pull it off I can buy me something this year.

My DD will not watch it for 5 minutes...well thats most of the stuff I watch they dont really care for, unless it is a doctor show and they think the guy is cute.... go figure.

SO SAD BUT SO TRUE!!!!!! I will never forget the old lady taking things out of my buggy. Yes I will be doing a good deal online but I have to go to the stores too.

I was starting my list of people and gifts and realized that I have no clue on what to get people this year. From kids to adults I am at a lost. So I figured I would go to my GD Family and see what your top 3 gifts you have received or would like to receive ( within reason - no car or house ... LOL ) in the past or this year. My age range varies greatly so all ideas would be appreciated. Maybe this could help others out as well but it will definitely help me.

I never liked Star Wars growing up but now I am a junkie. Love all things SciFi, well most things as some are to far out there for me. But Star Wars is awesome

I did okay. Not to much damage. A little roof damage and leak. A lot of trees down, but for the most part we fared a lot better than expected. A friend of mine in NC lost everything so I am thankful.

Yep, But it opens the door for online shopping. The only thing is the online shopping is not guaranteed. They can cancel the order, lose it in shipping, etc. It is nothing like having that gift or item in hand and know you can check it off. Yes the different sales at different times is a must.

Yep now it is at my back door and hoping it dies down. Still need to due a few more things but the majority of my preping is completed .

I found this number on line about 2 years ago and you leave Santa a message on his voicemail of the things you want for Christmas and it will email it to your parents or something like that. So that is what I might have her do this weekend. I guess thats what I get for watching the Christmas shop on QVC Exactly. I have gotten creative. Hiding presents inside of the Christmas tree box, etc or just leaving them at work until the week before Christmas. My older 2 DD has always loved it. It is a long night for me but so worth it to see there smiling faces

okay, so why my DD asked if she could call Santa early so her presents will get under the tree before Christmas eve.........I told her she still couldn't open them until Christmas but she is dead set on calling Santa this weekend to be at the top of the delivery list.
