DD17 wants a car this year (she doesn't even have her licence yet just a learners permit)...(My parents are already told her and DS15 they would give them their explorer in Feb of 2011 and shes not happy about waiting till 2/11 ..) wierdest i guess is DS wanting a pokemon VHS collection (last year).

I would still hang her stocking and add one from the sil too. I'd have their own stocking. Ornaments I'd give her some of her's from growing up. My kids will have box ornaments from disney, personalized ornaments, and collectors (Lenox), boy my tree will be almost bare when they leave. I get them an ornament ever year as part of their stocking and so does my mom and my uncle. I'd just get them one or two couple ornaments then get an ornament relative to them something they like that maybe a hallmark style ornament so that have a couple ornament and then one as an individual. Even if she cant come home on Christmas day maybe the family could get together before or a little after and then you would have a stocking for DD and the SIL.

I've helped in the past, this year I just dont have the time. I wish I did though as you can tell him 9 days behind in seeing this post. Both kids are in high school and are spreading me thin

On another note, I love this but , I'm not fond of coconut myself.

If so here it is: 1 package coconut, 6 tablespoons butter 1 cup chopped pecans 1 cup sweetened condensed milk 1 carton whipped topping, (16 ounces) 1 package cream cheese, (8 ounce) 1 jar caramel topping, (12 ounces) 2 deep dish pie shells, baked Preparation: Melt butter , place coconut and chopped pecans on cookie sheet and pour butter over it, bake till toasted @ 350 set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and condensed milk; beat well. Fold in whipped topping. Put 1/4 of the mixture into each pie shell. Drizzle 1/4 jar of the caramel topping on each, then sprinkle with about 1/4 of the coconut-pecan mixture. Repeat layers. Freeze. Serve frozen. Or you can pill it all in and only top it with the coconut , carmel, and pecan topping

ours had four and they told me yesterday i could get it today. then today they said not till tommorrow and another lady said well I was told this too but she decided to get it without card so she wouldnt have to worry about it tommorrow. and then they swipped it so she could buy it without the card and it told them to swipe the GC so they called the store manager and he said go ahead and sell it to them because the system was letting them ring it up that way... So Yeah to me and the other lady! The WM an hour away from us said it they didnt even know about it and it's a blitz item for friday am.
