out Kb is so small that they actually make you walk in aline around teh store,..you cant just go wherever you have to follow the line,..that sucks,..so i stay away unless something is too good to pass up.

my daughter just started at old navy she hasnt said anythign about teh BF sales yet but i cant wait till she does..

Our K-mart is so slow,..they never have more than 2 registers working and the people are rude,..ruder than teh walmart associates,..carzy huh,..cuz i thought they were the rudest,..atleast were i live. anyways,..2 years ago i was there for BF and had to fight with an associate over some jammies in the ad,..they were like 10 bucks and she kept telling me i had the wrong ones but the ones i had was hte exact same ones in the picture for the ad..i mean exact!! i still remember them they were for my daughter 14 at the time and they were pink and blue,..haha it took me getting angry and yellin for a manger cuz i was so frustrated.. i know they were swamped but geez they were the exact ones in the ad!

an associate at out target said the BF stuff was in the back and not to be brought out till right before thanksgiving,..so who knows about the overflow of the stock everyone seen?

our Superwalmart was open last year so we got there at 2a.m. and walked the store for other things we needed that weren't specials and then we scoped out all teh places we needed to be to get the specials,..but about 4a.m. it started getting crazy,..people cutting into the shrink wrap and taking early BF specials,..I dont think the manager cared except for the d.v.d's and he had all the big ticket merchandise in the back and he gave out tags for them,..

omg i've seen them too,..2 years in a row and their still on the floor at our walmart,..hahaha someone please buy them so i dont have to look at them anymore...please!!!

thanksgving,..ham , potatoes, greens, chitlins, corn, stuffing, salad, bread, and plenty of pies x-mas eve,...everyone brings a covered dish so we could end up with anythign,..celebrate MIL birthday which is x-mas day x-mas,..ham,..potatoes, greens, salads, breads, and every cookie, pie known to man,..haha

oh my goodness,..that songs makes me bawl everytime i hear it,..did you see the movie? omg it was so sad,..the shoes in the movie were way ugly and me and my daughter were laughing and crying at the same time over the movie,..cryig because it was so sad but laughin cuz those ugly shoes,..haha a good x-mas memory for me and her!!

i'm alittle of both,..list and general shopping,..i'm an impluse shopper which is so bad at x-mas..haha

i have been worried about x-mas cuz i got laid off but now we're ok cuz i found another job but anyways during the few weeks thats all i could think about was BF coming..and the count down and anyone who knows me knows i luv x-mas and the shopping so i went to bed late one night and woke my hubby up freakin out cuz i thought it was Bf day and I wasnt prepared and had no money,..he was like look goof calm down,..hahahaha

nap,..then unload the car and start to wrap,..then we usually take hte kids to get some of the things they want to give as gifts so they can be part of the BF tradition.

2005...my daughter and I went shopping on BF as usual. This was her first trip she was 14,..ok so WM had the dvds on sale as usual,..poor girl got knocked down to the ground and couldnt get up,..a friend of ours grabbed her hand and pulled her up,..an associate of the store felt so bad they made sure she got all her dvds and made sure she was alright,..she thought it was funny,..thank goodness she didnt get hurt....then a few minutes later she ran for a uno attack which was on sale,..i stayed with teh cart and we took turns running for different items,..so she ran for hte uno attack and got the last one just as she started walkign an old lady like 70 grabbed it out of her hand and ran away with it,..we laughed so hard we couldnt get it from her,..it was so funny,..

lovin this thread!! i dont bake much but maybe with a few recipes form here,..the holidays will be yummy!

Ok so i do count the clothes as gifts so my kids may get 15-20 gifts,..I do a box with cute undies, bras, socks, etc...for the girls, and cool boy undies, beaters, etc..for teh boys,..plus several outfits in boxes...each kid may get 4 or 5 new outfits plus there box of unders..this is from mom and dad and wrapped i gues just so they have something extra to open,..my aunt doesnt wrap clothes she always said who wants to unwrap clothes?? me i do !! i like to unwrap!!

white on the tree,..color around the door ways and white up the banister....then a mix outside,..

Board games are nice,..plus the baskets,..i'm a basket giver,..haha WHen I was little we had cousins on my dads side who always had hard times making ends meet so every year we went with my parents and made a day of going to get things for the kids,..at that time we didnt know it was for the cousins, i didn't find out till I was in high school. My mom never wanted us to know so the feelings wouldnt be funny,..anyways we enjoyed shopping for them, made us feel good,..
