just 2 for ....ss and ornament

I'm so excited,..I keep buying small trinkets to add to my ornament and ss gift,.I told my daughter we could go to teh post office on wensday and mail it all out with teh letters,...i think i may have to do it monday the way I keep buying stuff...haha I hope my ss and ornament person like what I got them,..this is so much fun!!

I get no christmas bonus. I am like the others haha lucky to have the day off!!!

I had to ask for it off,.my last job I took that week off and the week beofre x-mas off now I have to work on BF and x-mas eve so I begged my boss and I got it off so I;m good to go..

i use ot use walmart layaway every year this year I had to use kmart which sucks becuase i cant find clothes my kids like there but i did find a few toys and some perfume sets etc...i am so mad that walmart doesnt have layways it was my one stop shop except for on BF i could go there get clothes, toys, games, stuff for family etc..a few nice size layaways bi weekly payments and i was good to go..

I have my ss and ornament list and of course i have had the card list so ....ready....set...shop!!!

my cards are bught for all i bought alot so i may have extras haha been looking for my s.s. gifts but figured i better wait for my name ot start shopping so i can get her/him the good stuff haha

I bought my cards today ,..found some real cute ones at Dollar Tree for a dollar for 16 they're very cute!! I bought a roll of stamps the other day so I have 100 to start with. I joined teh card exchange here and with teh family I know I'l have to run and get more stamps but atleast its a start.

i'll be ready for x-mas music on Nov 1st,..thats when the local park has a drive through x-mas light show and it makes everything so pretty,..really gets me in the spirit

my kids are older and dont believe anymore so last year they were misbehaving so i made them go with me to the salvation army giving tree see how many names where on it and told them how many kids wouldnt be having a nice x-mas but we weould be then we decided to pull a name off the tree for each kid and go and shop for them. each kid had to pick someone their own age and gender and shop..after this they felt better about seeing all the kids and actually started behaving better. I will do this again with them. sometimes children can get alittle selfish and this is a good way to show them true human compassion

we had stockings growing up and i do them for the kids,..i put all kinds of lil things mostly from teh dolar stores,..socks, cologne, toothbrushes, x-mas candy, hair brushes, combs, small cheap toys, body washes etc...it's like a treasure chest of goodies.,..

hoping ot take about 1000.oo in cash. The cc lines jam quikly and i can get in and out but as the others have said hide your money well. i have 3 kids to buy for so i try to take extra in case i get a good deal

every other year we re-do our kids rooms,.. new curtains, sheets, comforter, rugs and a few throw pillos,..i shop for good deals and get cute colors that make a more teen look,..we got my oldest a large stand up mirror for a full body look and a vanity set with a bench so she could sit and do her hair, makeup etc.. a digital camera and a digital frame make awesome gifts as well as scrapbbok stuff..

Target and that darn Walmart..

i shop alittle off teh list but look for things i know they will like but havnt thought of.

we start our traditions on thanksgiving with putting up the tree, then the day after me and hte oldest daughter would go shopping, once we got back and resyed we'd take teh 2 younger to teh dollar tree so they could do their shopping *they loved telling their friends they went the4 day after thanksgivin* then we wrap sme of the presents and put them under the tree..we listen to musica all through the season. But what i will miss most is something my sister and I started when the kids were little we would leave them gifts from "santa" starting the week of Thanskgiving and every week on different days we'd leave more,..one a week till x-mas,..small reminders to believe and behave ..cards in the mail, a small gift on their beds, we even put trinkets on our doorsteps when the kids were in their bedrooms rang the doorbell and had the kids answer the door,..they would get so excited anticipating santas next gift,..we've done large coloring books, socks, candy, anything we could find that was cute but cheap!! One time the kids were misbehaving terribly so we sent them a small lump of coal from teh toy store with a note saying that more would come if they didnt straighten up ..now they no longer believe it makes me sad sitting here thingking about the fun we had with this..

well I always go with my daughter,..and sometimes my sister but this year my other 2 who now no longer believe in Santa want to go,..I'm kinda sad,..this is the first year no one believes and now they want to go with me to do the shopping...

I do not like comcast as well,...i like when you have problems and you call and when your talking to them they reboot your system which hangs up on you so you have to call back and wait on hold again,..this irates me so bad!! I want another cable system to come t our valley,..dish network or any other sat. companys dont work very well around here because we live in a valley and every storm knocks it out. SO were stuck with comcast!!

done shopping, need to wrap a few more, need to bake and get groceries for dinner and now hubby suprised me with a get together at our house for this friday nite,..nice!! now i got to super clean before and after teh party,..yeah me!!

i'm a coach girl myself but my daughter who is 16 asked for a cathy purse from Macy's price was like 90.00 which is better than 200 for the coach..

i'm a basket girl so i'd make a basket with popcorm and a cheap movie or a cocoa set or somethign along those lines...
