I actually get to work BEFORE Black Friday hours start, but at least I will already be out when the line sstart forming. And hey if your paper is late, just live with it, I don't see you out working 7 days a week with no weekends or holidays off and no snow days even if the roads are closed.

Dear Santa and the Elves who we all know are the ones who are responsible for checking the list and assigning an equal number of presents based on the formula of presents x good deeds / bad behavior tendacies. I believe that if you accuratly figure in the fact that I have five children whom I have managed to keep alive through a broken arm, 32 stiches, a finger caught in the conveyer belt at a store, a dive into an EMPTY swimming pool (and those were all just the three year old). Still there are no missing limbs, no brain damage, and they are all still talking to me most of the time. I have gone without technical advances so that they may have just enough technology to be able to keep up with their school friends while managing to keep the moths out of my wallet. I start work at 2am everyday 7 days a week so that I may be home to get the older children off to the bus and be able to stay home with my two youngest and work on providing the most nurturing and stimulating enviornment for them. Between soccer, swimming, basketball, ballet, leading a group of Daisy Scouts, PTA fundraisers, Assisting teachers, and trying to maintain a somewhat livable home. I always manage to make sure that their homework is done, as well as extra individual reading time and plenty of time on the computer for them to relax with educational games. But as I am so busy trying to keep up with their schedule, any time that I have to relax is gone by the time I finshin any reports, scheduling, letter writing, and many other tasks that get taken up with me fighting for the computer and killing my wrists typing. We have made several purchases with best buy using rebates. But we also always got them back. We also like "MEnardsyou don't get cash back but you get a credit they come really fast and we always need something from Menards. The Stride Rite prices were lower than retail in stride rite stores, and I also got a pair of car shoes arrived yesterday and my sons bday is today so was a GREAT find!

I wanted to buy a vacuum after an infomercial, it was $120 but then the payments were cheap and you got a free steamer and you could get another unit free. When I called the only way to get the steamer and the other unit free was to pay in full, and then you still had to pay an additional $30 shipping on the free one. My husband said toi go ahead and buy it and I did using check by phone and they ran a check for over $300! My husband called to find out why and they could not look up or cancel the order because it was being processed so we had to stop payment on the check and pay the fee for that. So now I won;t buy anything from infomercials again and I avoid the shopping networks.

freecycle is great! I buy a lot of stuff next to new for next to nothing at yard sales but you have to be early! Around this time a few years ago we got a clearanced Little Tikes 6-in-1 playground marked down from $300 to $100 at Walmart, but watching their clearance toys this year I don't see it happening again.

My banks are EXPENSIVE! I read in the account details they have the right to refuse other checks, but I asked and they said that they do allow most anyother check company. I think it's mainly for people printing checks off their computer that may not meet the standards. I got my buisness checks from Sams Club and got a binder and deposit slips and a whole bunch of stuff with them for less than a box of checks at my bank.

It can't be used with all toilets, but I emailked the company and they sent me some coupons including one for any product (under their brand) free.

They bought out Marshal Fields and LS Ayers here at the same mall and turned one into a Macy's and closed the other. Just stupid to lbuy these stores and then have all this dead space. I think they are trying to get rid of the regular indoor mall setup and move to the "strip mall" that's what they are doing here. But I don't like it, I don't go to a mall and just go to one store, but if I have to go outside everytime I want to go to a different store I won't be going to as many. And if the weather is bad where would you rather go?
