Right now, my family is watching a movie and I am sitting with them but also on the computer................ I wondering when the big letdown will hit come January. I'll have to take time off work to recover!!!! I like to think of this as hunting season for ME. I stalk the deals, get ready to pounce, and then BAM!!!, I catch the deal........ I also find myself bragging to my friends when I find a GREAT deal.....

Just spoke with our best friends. We are finding it hard to find a date to get our families together. I can't believe our Fridays and Saturdays are filling up already. It isn't even that we are all that busy. Just work schedules, family parties, etc. Anyone else feel this way??? I think we need an extra month to fit it all in. I would love to have more get togethers but we can't find the time.......

I host a dinner 2 weeks ahead of time for my Dad's family. About 40 people. We love doing it. Finally a tradition......We do the same for Easter and Christmas. I kinda took over when my Gramma passed away. The actual day I share the cooking with my mom and we keep it simple so we can watch football and look through the ads.

I think the stores are going to be desperate for shoppers. I'm hoping the deals this year are FANTASTIC!!!!!! I can actually say I am getting excited!!!!!

Two years ago I got a Kenmore crockpot as a gift. I like it because it holds ALOT. It has several different digital settings.

I never ran across a SUPER deal. We got ours last year at Target. They had them for $10 off. Many times your main stores will sell bundles that include games w/ purchase. Deals tend to be with games and not the console. I have found that October seems to be the month.

My kids prefer Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Quick pick up games as well as unlocking characters. Good for a lot of players at the same time.

We have both the Nintendo brand as well as a generic brand. We are all fighting over the Nintendo brand. It just seems to work better with the remote. And of course this is what is most important in our house right now!!!!
