Do I have to know someone who works there to go on Friends & Family night?

Does anyone know if the BF price for dishwashers at Lowes vs. Home Depot is any better than the pricing through the rest of the year?

Will Sears run a special on elipticals for BF? Will it be a better deal than normal?

Does anyone know how Sears prices their dishwashers on BF? Is it any better than the deal I would get any other time of the year?

I read another post mentioning an Energystar appliance program through the state? Does anyone know anything about this? I was going to purchase a dishwasher for MIL on BF. How will this program work? Is it with the retailers or does the public have to request money back (like a tax credit)? Just wondering what this is and if I should wait in case it goes into effect after BF!

Usually DH goes. We have a list and we go for different items. This year he will be working so I will probably go alone. I've been talking to a friend but they don't seem to enthused to go. But the more I think about it I wonder if it wouldn't be better to go alone...no one to slow me down! lol

I have never tried it but am considering it this year. The only thing that I read last year from ppl was that they would be able to order it on-line then in a couple of days receive an e-mail that they didn't really get the item because it is on backorder or out of stock.

I really don't have anything to exciting to tell. But it seems like every year I get stuck waiting behind someone with terrible B.O.!! The store is always too warm and people keep pressing against you. All I can do is pray that I get my item quickly so that I can breathe and that no one thinks that it is me!

Our Target is new and I have never been so I am thinking the same thing. I'll probably go at 5 a.m. I just wonder since Target doesn't do doorbusters if they will have several things in stock. Or if they hold things back to put out through the day. I guess you could ask if something is not out.

I noticed it said sales for MN. Do you think these deals will be at all the locations?

I wonder if you called WM and asked them how many of the item you want they will have in stock on BF if they would tell you? I thought about the same thing. I am thinking that the Super WM will have more selection but there will also be more people so it could really be an even draw. It's probably just one of those things that you'll have to see what happens.

I know that when you look at the ad on the WM website it askes for your zip code first. I am guessing that some areas probably are different. There was one time that I was looking for a specific item. A friend told me that one WM had it for X amount. I went to Super WM to get it. They had the same item at a higher price. I asked about it and they called the other WM and gave me the item at the lower price. I think I would check to see if you can do that. But don't wait until BF to find out. Contact them now.

I wonder what KM corporate would think about that? Doesn't seem quite fair. I bet they don't know. I think I would report it.

Can anybody tell what that coupon says? Is it $15 off a min purchase or on none sale items or what?

What do you mean by "Kmarts safety plan"?? Is this something all the stores do? I agree with hubby. I think he hooked his fam or friends up. I'm guessing he "found" another tv because he was holding a couple more tickets in his pocket for more buddies. That is outrageous! I don't think you over reacted at all. I would have been pissed too. But I am glad you got your tv. He was probably scared that you would call corporate and he would get in trouble. Which I would seriously consider doing anyway!

I am just wondering if I get stuff from TRU can I take it over to the BRU side and check out or do I have to buy something from BRU too? I've been seeing on here that it is usually easier to check out on the BRU side but I wanted to make sure you can actually do that before I try it and they say "No" and I have to wait in line twice.

Where did my post go about the Target BF ad and news that it had been leaked? I'd just like to know why it was deleted.

Since WM is being so snooty about their BF ad and not letting it out until Nov 24 that they will release it for on-line view and we'll get a ad circular in the mail that day too. I think they are just doing this crap to get us excited to see the ad. Which is working by the way.

I know. It has been a major let down this year! So far it is Sears but we still have a little time to be saved by Target, Walmart, KB's, & TRU. Hopefully the best is yet to come.

Here I was so excited because they opened a BB in my area. I was soooooooo excited to open the ad and scan it to the very last page. I get to the end and I'm like "THAT'S IT????" I guess I won't have to put BB on my list this year.

I would def not let them ahead of me. If they wanted to be first they should have been there early to line up when they are allowed. I am sure the security will be there the morning of BF. If they give you any hassle call security. I would also talk to the Manager a couple of days ahead of time.
