So far I'm thinking of getting the emachines desktop,tomtom gps, and maybe a 19-22" lcd monitor? I really need a tv, but that might have to wait since I'm on a tight budget this year. We'll see what comes out in the Bonus doorbuster ad though. Who knows, I might end up with a $200 lappy or sub $400 lcd tv.

I'm surprised BB doesn't have any advertised. I think they had a couple last year. One was $399, I think? Maybe they'll have one in the bonus friday doorbusters.

You could still go with the $399 one & pick up one of those epson all in one's for $25... Just a thought!

Idk if I'm gonna go with either of them until I see if BB does what they did last year and offer a cheaper one at the last moment, but if I had to choose between the two sony's, I'd go with the $399, because I don't really need another all-in-one printer, I'd just install Kaspersky internet security, and the laptop bag is a POS, so I'm not sure it would be worth another $100 to me for an extra 40gb.

The anti-virus is PRE-INSTALLED by the dork squad.

Are you talking about the one that had the $999 plasma & $250 laptop in store? If so, I think it came out about 4 days before BF.

Best buy had a HP core solo that was $749 before & after BF, but they slashed it to $379 for BF, so let's hope they do it again.

I don't really have too many stories to tell, but I went to Best Buy for BF 2006 and not only did I get everything on my list, I made friends with the GM and another associate. In fact, I thought the young 20 something associate was doing such a great job dealing with the crowd, questions, line cutters, etc. that I pulled the GM aside and jokingly told him that he should give the kid a raise. To my surprise, he pulled him inside the store for about 15min. and the kid came back through the line asking for the guy that suggested he get a raise. My buddy pointed me out and he came by to say thanks, the manager gave him a raise because of me and shook my hand. Anyway, I found out that he actually got a promotion too, because the GM came back out and offered me his old job, but I turned it down because I had just found a new job about a month before and I don't really want to work at best buy, because then I can't participate in BF!
