  1. At my Target we get the popcorn/soft drink for $1....and always get the icee drink instead of the pop for the same price. They could care less what kind of drink you get! And always a free refill!!! This usually buys me about 15 mins of complaint free shopping!!
  2. Love the Great Wolf....but I have never been in Texas. But it is a great chain so I'm sure it is right up there! I do agree about the food and drink though. We always take our toaster to places like this. It is much easier to eat breakfast and lunch in, since the kids don't really want to leave the hotel. Toaster waffles are great, and easy and even toasted sandwiches for lunch. The resturants are good but pricey. Have fun:D!!
  3. Thanks! I'm going to check it out.:DYou will have to remember for next year. Not many people think to look there...I got some really good stuff for basically nothing! Happy scrapping!!!!!
  4. I have seen the new Valentine's one!! :DSo cute and great price....DD8 and I are going to make her V-day cards this year instead of buying them. So I picked some up for that too! But I especially love the one they have out now, with the really bright flowers....it is kind of retro loking to me. I must always miss out on them. I don't get to Target as much as some of you lucky girls!!! Did you get some of the Christmas supplies at 90% this year after Christmas??
  5. Have you scrapbookers seen the new scrappin' paper in the dollar spot. Sooooo colorful and springy!! Ribbon and stickers to match....all for $1!!!!! I haven't seen much scrapbooking stuff in the dollar spot before....or have I just missed it??
  6. I' not sure what you need it for...but Staples and Office Max are usually pretty good at giving you deep discounts (or free) if it is for a charity or non-profit cause.
  7. I am just curious....are you using these for drinks at your wedding??:)
  8. I am cracking up........!!!! You could have worse addictions....as long you don't end up in the poor house, than no harm done!!! Great deals though....especially the sheets. What are you going to do with them all?? And the Transformers were a great deal too...I wish I would have seen those!
  9. I was at mine yesterday and they had 50% off the clearance price. I didn't get any $2.99 deals but I still found some great stuff.
  10. REALLY.....that is suprising. Maybe someone has been reading some of our nasty Wal-Mart posts! Thanks, I'm going to check it out!!!
  11. I wanna know too...... maybe you should post this as a new topic:D!!!
  12. We eat as many organics as possible too. People are always wanting to start some type of conversation about it and I usually finding myself defending my choices. Kind of urks me:mad:!! But also to the lady that has 20 bags of groceries...I agree as well that these bags hold WAY more than the plastic ones do. I would probably have 10 to 12 bags and using these bags I would say we could fit it in 6. At first it was a pain in the a#@, but now I love them. BUT remember to leave them in your car, or if you are like me you get to the grocery store and remember they are hanging at home by the back door!
  13. Our grocery stores here have been promoting these type of bags for a couple of years now. They actually charge .15 per plastic bag now if you choose not to use them. I had issues at first but it's just part of daily life now.
  14. I laughed when I read your comment about the pallets. I know exactly what you mean. They act crazy when they are wheeling those things out. It's like calm down....I'm sorry you are so excited to re-stock paper towel!! I actually had a guy at my local WM call me a stupid b@$#!:eek:last year because he felt like I was in his way. I didn't hear him, because he said it as he was kind of passing me, but my Mom was right behind me around the corner. So, I marched right back up to him and his fellow "stock" buddy and asked him if he had something he needed to say to me. They both turned a nice pale white color and said no.(Of course they were trying to be all cool and kind of laughing about it...) Until I started raising my voice and kept asking him if he needed to say something to me....and after about three or four times he finally said "sorry, I was out of line." But you know what, too many rude employees get away with crap and if they were confronted more often I think they would think twice about being so nasty. He looked like he wanted to crawl under the pallet....I just felt like I wanted to hit him with it!!
  15. I totally agree!! Wal-Mart used to clear out the old stuff and bring in the new. Not now. It looks old and dirty.....
  16. Thanks happygirl326!! I will say that I have done a few of these survey's lately. Sometimes they are quick but some have taken 10 mins or more. But for $10 FREE merchandise even 10 mins is fine!!! The first few I did however were literally 2 mins long.
  17. So cute!! We are all so creative !! All kids love Clifford....I am always on the lookout too in the after holiday clearance for party favors. Last week at BBW sale, I got American girl glitter spray and roll on glitter scent for DD8 party in July. They even had bags thatwere pink with a peppermint on it (didn't look Christmasy at all) for .50 and after my $10 off $30 survey they were even less than that. I think the sprays were about $1.25 or so...but again it is kind of nice to give something worthwhile.
  18. Maybe this is wrong but I would have purchased one, kept it, and put the broken one in the box for the store to send back to LeapFrog!!!
  19. OMG, those will be so cute when you get them done!! Like I always say "if Target doesn't have it, I don't need it" !!!!!! You never know what you are going to find!! You will have to post a pic when you get them done! I have seen other companies that make decorator cookies and they are works of art....I so admire you for being able to create such masterpieces!! I buy the Toll House, from cardboard to oven!!! Or I stick to cupcakes for the kids classes...they look much more professional when I cover them with interesting colorful shaped sprinkles!!! I am a floral designer though, so I do know the work and thought process that goes in these things!
  20. Me too! My friends think I'm crazy for all the time and effort I put into that kind of stuff...but they are always impressed and when they need ideas, they always call!! It's just kind of my thing. I like to do it and the kids love to help!! We also made homemade chocolate dipped pretzel rods. We were at a gourmet candy shoppe a couple of weeks ago, and the kids saw these pretzel rods. We have made them before at home just for ourselves but the ones we saw were really neat. They were of course dipped in chocolate about half way up and then rolled in mini M&M's. They looked so fun and yummy. I had gotten about 2 thousand (no kidding:D) small cello bags about a year ago and they fit in them perfectly. They were also a big hit. Quite professional looking if I do say so myself!!! I love the Target stationary isle for neat clearance stuff and then always get ideas to go on from there!!
  21. This is awesome I have a couple of places that I going to pass this along!!
  22. So true!! People look at us too when we walk in with the "best" and most expensive present at the party!! But I usually pay far less than anyone else does. Makes my kids look like the hero at their little friends parties!! DS5 just had his birthday party at our local movie theatre. I had picked up some small paper popcorn boxes from Target .87 for 8 or 10. Ended up filling them with little pink wallets (Wal-mart 90% off clearance) and American girl glitter spray (BBW 75% off clearance) and some treats for the girls. And the boys got hot wheels (never clearance but .97) and a card game and some treats. What a great alternative to the "grab bag" they take home. The popcorn boxes from Target made me look like I really knew what I was doing. LOL....The parents were impressed!! On a side note I also put individual serving sizes of the new Pringles mini chips. Gosh they are so cute....look like regular Pringles but are about the size of a quarter. The kids loved them!
