The free dining plan that she would have gotten, is usually only avail. in the last part of Aug. to the first part of Sept. When it comes to Disney there are not many "deals" to be had. Depending where you are coming from the drive is not that bad....and your kids are old enough that the drive wouldn't bother them too much.

I wanted one for herbs too! I am so jealous...that was a great find. Lots of yummy meals coming up at your house!!

Target had some mixed bags of little toys yesterday. Can't remember the price but they were pretty inexpensive!

I also host an egg hunt for alot of kids and I don't fill the eggs with anything. They have so much fun just collecting them all! There is always too much commotion and I am afraid the smaller kids will choke on ANYTHING small. So they collect them, count them and trade them in for their treat bag. Then I can also put my money into "better" items. I hate spending my money on a bunch of little stuff that I know will be going in the garbage. Usually only 1 or 2 treats, a craft of some sort, card games, colouring book and markers (which I get at Target with the back to school stuff usually .88 or so)! I try to make the stuff kind of family oriented....stuff that they can play together when they go home. The bags are a great deal at Hobby Lobby 10 for 2.00, plain kraft bags in yummy colours. Then we, as a family, scrapbook big tags to go on the front with the kids name and some kind of easter sticker or do-dad.

Me either. I got the $10 off GB but that is the only one that I have ever gotten. And I spend ALOT of money on that card. DH uses it for business too.

Sears sux. Everytime I buy something there, I am not happy with it and I swear that I won't go back. Then when I give them another chance I have the same issues. And I can't get them to stand by anything. So I have given up! Join the club.

I think their stuff, especially shirts run small.

I didn't see the entire transaction you are correct. She was a little old lady (bless her heart) and she did not understand a thing they were telling her! So by the time they started explaining it to her, I think they realized that it may take awhile, and opened another cash at the customer service desk. So by then, I had done what I needed to and I was outta there and she was still trying to figure out what they were telling her. O.k. thanks for the info.....I am very persistent though....I'll have to think of a new plan.

It hasn't went clearance it is still the same price. DH checked today. BUT I am just confused about the no receipt return. I was there a few weeks ago and they were letting a lady return a stereo without a receipt. I have never returned without a receipt. (I hoard them all in a file in my purse!!):rolleyes:I guess my question is.... is it standard at all Target stores that you can only return an item without a receipt if it is under $20?????

Blah, blah, blah about the toilet seat.:eek:I totally understand why you are so po'ed. I really do hope that you DO call the manager back. I am a firm believer that people get away with being so rude because no one ever calls them on it. The store manager should know the way that you were treated...doesn't matter what the problem was in the first place. I have worked in retail since I was 15 years old (both as a cashier, in my earlier days and as a store owner) and I have NEVER... NEVER treated anyone with any disrespect. And trust me there are PLENTY of times that I could have and PLENTY of times that I have wanted to. As far as the piercings go I really can't say anything....my hair right now is green!

O.k. ladies! I have a question about a return. I bought a king sized comforter with the shams etc....back in November. DH was on his way to Target today and I asked him to take it back without the receipt because the return window had expired. I know that you are allowed 2 per year without the receipt but because it was over $20.00 they wouldn't do it. They needed to look up the transaction? I still have the receipt and it was on my Target card....do you think they will still take it back? Worst thing is, I only want to return it because I was at Target a couple of weeks ago and I found one I like better (and it cost twice as much)! And it is unopened still in the bag. What do I do???

I am the same way. But do you know what I have been doing lately instead of buying the liscensed paper, which is expensive and seems like a waste, I use plain paper which comes in lots of nice colours. And then I attach something to the outside that has to do with the theme. You can usually pick up some cool little thing to attach to the outside....especially for the HSM theme. The above poster was just mentioning some little sets that she picked up...they would be perfect. I tuck it under the curling ribbon (I use lots!) and they get an extra little present and the theme still shines through, for about the same price (or sometimes even less)!!

If they had a pink sticker. Mine were an extra 50% off.

I know...I just meant generally. Ours has loads of stuff left at Halloween but basically nothing Christmas is left by the time it goes 75%. Like you say if I really need it (which I don't;)) I guess I'll just bite the bullet! I have never done the swap with clearance seasonal merch. They don't mind you returning it even if it is seasonal? Also, I am allowed 2 returns per year without receipt right?

If anyone loves Chuck Taylors high tops.....I got my little guy 4 pair for $20.00!!! Awesome deal and there is just something about a little boy in Converse high tops!! So stinkin' cute........

I have a question for all of you....I have never really looked at Valentine clearance before. Does alot of it get wiped out at 50% or would I be safe with waiting for 75%. I really only need small filler type stuff.

Oh tht is funny....I actually looked at that one and it was really cute. But I remember thinking...not a chance, this shirt has way to much glitter!!! Her brother would kill me if any of his clothes ended up with glitter anywhere....:eek:Heaven forbid!!!
