  1. Cashandra:I was born and raised in LIma,Ohio! My best friend and I used to Black Friday shop in Lima for several yrs. I now live in North Carolina.

    Small world LOL

I actually live in Delphos, Ohio (about 10 minutes from Lima), but our town is SOO small, the biggest National chain store we have is Riteaid..LOL. If you want anything worth anything you have to travel to Lima to get it. (That, and the prices are way cheaper over there).

  2. I guess I'll start this one off. Is anyone else in the Fruit2day campaign? I'm in it but I haven't been able to find that stuff ANYWHERE. I check my 3 local stores regularly and I've even checked grocery stores when we go out of town. Nuthin.

Actually, I seen it at my hometown store Tuesday morning when I went grocery shopping. I was wondering how it tastes.... The store I'm talking about is called Chief and I believe it is only in a few select cities here in Ohio.

  3. thanks have u ever ordered from these sites? Im scared to order from sites I dont know of

actually I clicked on your amazon link, and down the page a little, these popped up under other similiar items, but when I clicked the link it took me to a different site. You could google the store websites to see if anyone had any problems with them. Thats what I usually do when I'm buying from a store that I'm unfamiliar with.

  4. 1. In your opinion, what store had the best Black Friday ad last year (2008) and why?

    2. What would be your #1 piece of advice to someone totally new to Black Friday?

    3. Besides offering great deals, what else can a store do to get you to shop there on BF?

1.) In my opinion, Walmart had the best Black Friday ad. They had the most items that I was looking for and all in one store rather than driving around to many stores so early in the A.M.

2.) My advice would be to research the items you are wanting to buy before going into the store to purchase them. You just might find it cheaper, (or a better quality for the same price) elsewhere.

3.) Have some kind of system of order. I hate going to a store to pick up the great bargains, and having to deal with people butting in front of me, or pushing me around to get what they want. Very annoying.

  5. I usually shop alone because my mom doesn't like to go until 9 or 10. By then all the good stuff is gone! Last year my cousins and their friends all started a yearly thing. A whole bunch of them get together around 10pm with their list of things they wanted from Walmart. Lets say there were 12 of them (I can't remember the actual number). They put their list together and at the end, lets say they needed 5 portable dvd players, 10 barbies, 3 computers, ect. Each person picked a station they would stand at all night and stayed there until they opened the pallets and grab however many the group needed. Then meet up somewhere in the store to sort pass out the items to everyone and then go checkout. I am going to get in on that this year as I never seem to get what I really want.
