Hello. Checking in for April. Been a wild weather month so far- had a nearby tornado (minimal damage) but spent time in the basement listening to the hail and waiting for the weather radio to say all clear.

I can't decide if March seemed like a long or a short month, either way soon to say goodbye....
Well, it is supposed to really blow out tonight. Not tornados but 60 MPH wind predicted. Out like a lion too

March is almost over in a blink. Spring is poking it’s head out -daffodils are up, and my crazy almost-year round blooming magnolia has buds. And best of all we have a camping trip scheduled.

Hi, checking in for March. Birthday month.
Glad daylight savings time is here, lighter evenings.
Still a lot of birds at my feeders, including a 1st timer- Hairy woodpecker.
Daffodils poking up but still not warm, oh wait, maybe tomorrow. Or snow.

It was in the low 30s when we did our grocery pickup on Saturday, this upcoming Saturday we are looking at 80+ degrees! YUCK!
Sound like here-20° the other night and supposed to be 79 later this week.
Last month we had 6° in 60° in the same week

I already started shopping. Does that count?
Sent DH to our new Dollar General after Christmas (still had family to get together with) to get some wrapping paper.
He got 8(EIGHT) rolls. A lifetime supply for our small family.

In the past few weeks it has been 6° and 60°. Wow.

Hi Folks. Glad to “see” everyone.
I got car tires! And I am THRILLED, DH got me a remote control ceiling/vent fan for our camper.
He said I mentioned it in July and he remembered!!
And it even closes if it rains, who knew:D

Cards are addressed but won’t go out until Monday. Waiting on my stamp order.

I think I've gotten all the Christmas cards. We have gotten 10. They are all hanging up. Mom is very happy. The cards are especially important this year as we lost 4 members of our family 3 of them were my ants. Not so many cards on the wall this year. That makes them all extra special! Thanks again everyone!
Not yet! I sent all of mine out today. Hope they get to everyone before Christmas. It has been a weird year and I am behind more than usual.
I did receive all of my cards. As I did last year taped to LR wall Festive, and I am grateful. The scratch off wasnt a winner either, but Nice Thought, Thanks.

Checking in for December. Got some very cool LED retro lights, so put some around the doorways. Other deco out, just need set up.

Got the entire Wire tv show on dvd from eBay. About $45.
Got some other excellent condition dvd comedy movies on ebay for cheap too.
One other series (Bones)was less than 50% of walmart.com price.
Think we will be set for the winter! (Now dh will stop threatening to get cable

Ohh, rugs, how cool! noidontneedonenoidontneedonerepeatSo personally I don't think I'd use a cricut much, so I've not put much thought into those.
BUT... today I discovered there is such thing as a tufting machine, where I can make my own rugs!
AND... New Egg has a laser cutter on sale.
So those both have piqued my interest now. I think I'd use both of those. Maybe.
I have a Kitchenaid stand mixer, and I don't regret that purchase at all. I am able to keep it under the cabinet out of the way so that helps.
Now the air fryer... bleh. I actually don't love it, neither does my mom. My daughter loves hers though. Guess me and mama are just set in our ways! I don't like how fries turn out at all. And everything just kinda seems cumbersome to me. But probably because I have to relearn how to use it every time. I did make some yummy Brussel sprouts once. But it was a lot of trouble for something only I eat. I want to love and use it though!
Have a couple of small loom made rugs I made long ago but dont own a loom either. Have made several latchhooks for gifts.

Well it is official-Apple said my iPad is vintage and not repairable
It still works, mostly, so am going to use it up.
