Same here as long as the product is shipped from Walmart. They have a lot of other sellers now so you have to watch it.
Ahhh Valid Point. I try to only deal with Walmart.
We did buy a Gazebo thru Walmart this Spring that was nothing like described and just junk? It was 16” smaller than described so Walmart refunded all money, said Keep it and we bought a Mainstay ( which is Top Notch) (Repackaged first one and donated it)

I had a Costco membership years ago. It was similar to Sam's club so I dropped the Costco and kept Sam's because there is one within driving distance of my parents in Maine so I could use it there. I like it for the cheaper gas and deals I find. I used to send stuff to relatives but send much less frequently since even with the plus membership you have to spend over $50 to get free shipping (better to go with Walmart+ or Amazon Prime for the free shipping). They say the Plus is guaranteed to save you more than it costs. IDK if it does any more- they used to just count savings and now count what shipping would be plus instant savings (which you can get without Plus) and any other sale discounts (which you can also get without Plus).
We got Walmart Plus here last year for 1/2 off. We always get free shipping with low dollar orders. Ship to our house or relatives. Not sure if different in other states??

Our Big Lots closed. We used to do a ton of grocery shopping there. Hunt’s tomatoes, organic beans, snacks. Then they rearranged the store and just had weird brands of food and we got out of shopping there. It didnt help Walmarts opened 1/2 mile down the highway.
Didn’t shop at Joann a lot but don't know what would replace it. (Will not shop HL)
Luckily i dont need much stuff

It’s been a week of doctors for me. I finally convinced my GP that something has to be done about my knee pain so she shot me up with steroids and Holy Cow, I can walk again! What a difference. I also have a fancy new
️placard for my car that I feel like an imposter using LOL
yeah some days I use my hang tag, some days I dont.
But the good thing was that before a camping trip, my Dr gave me a blister pack of cortizone for the week. Made a huge difference. Maybe if you ask for one if you have a trip or something special……..? ymmv

I have always wanted a blue/navy car but when I’m on the lot car shopping I always chicken out. ROFL! I have no idea why either!
Good for you
I got my first new car, also blue in 2012. I like sedans. Owned 2 station wagons in the past and no desire for an suv. Always keep our cars a loooong time.
ENJOY

Hi Folks, we got Snow and I am happy. Put out bird seed and suet and peanuts and water and watch the birds come and go. We have lots of woodpeckers and various song birds and a few squirrels, who cannot get into the suet feeder,
Had tons of snow growing up, so it brings back fun times even though I’m not sledding.
Feel awful for the California fires though. CANNOT imagine that.
Happy New Year to all here

iPad Setup
in 2024
Our experience with Apple is that they are very happy to do or explain stuff. You can make a Genius bar appt and they are free.
(sometimes I do stuff myself but sometimes they do it easier)
There are free Apple manuals in the book app. (Some are not free)

A gift that I received a few years ago from my parents, that I didn't know I needed until I had it, was a platform ladder. Besides using it for painting, it's been used as a bench and a table for camping.
Very interesting! Will keep that in mind. Thanks! ( family like tools…..but have many)

Well, I have started a food basket for the hard to buy for. So far just seedless raspberry jam and blueberry syrup. Will add some maple syrup (I know they like) and go from there. No wrong size and no need to dust
edit to add: we diid get some of those Fire Extinguishing Blankets that are being advertised. I think they might be nice (and hope to not-need).

I have a question about this product if anyone knows:
Charbroil Big Easy® Outdoor Turkey Fryer and Air Fryer (walmart ad $139)
we use the side burner on our grill to cook out often
Any ideas if this might be easy to use for outside cooking often. I use my ovem, no prob, just looking for a surprise for the Chef
thanks

I was going to say the camera. After all it comes with film.
But I think I would go for the robot. The dogs would love to chase it around the room.
I had to laugh at the hanging clothes rack. I have an old one downstairs near my washing machine -it’s probably that old too

So, so sorry to hear about this bad year. It seemed like you were real friends with your Mom. I really hope you get better and stay healthy.
