Its time to move on, outlandish is writing a two page reply. Buy what your going to buy and if you spend too little you'll back next year to buy again.

I'm not stopping anyone from buying an AMD. Let's keep things civil, AMD is a second rate processor from a manufacter that may not be around much longer (BK). The high end Intel chip is far better than any AMD offering and all you have to do is go to the store and try to open and close applications quickly and watch what computer faulters first. As for the comment more power than the average user will need, if a person wants a simple machine for basic computing go buy a Mac. New PC's come packed full of crapware that slow even a new machine down. Furthermore, the new programs coming out will require much more processing power where lower end processors will simply crawl. If your going to make this kind of investment spend the money and get something that will compete longer.

I would not suggest the AMD processors if your planning on running alot of programs. They they have a tendency to run hot and slow down. I'm looking to get a computer that will last awhile. My current computer has lasted me 6 years. Although it cost me 2000.00 it is just becoming obscelete now. I'm looking for: Dell or HP Intel i5 or i7 processor 500 gb + hard drive 8-9 gigs of ram 1 gb video card dvd-ram or blu ray internal wireless-N screen 23" + I was in Costco and was told their coupon book that's coming out will have coupons for desktops and latops. The HP I was looking at was running 999 and they said that would be one of the coupon items. They would be getting 150 of them in next week.

I've found that going to a city that is for instance small and retired gives the best BF results. For example, my wife and I plan for a trip to Payson, Arizona to see her grandparents for thanksgiving. Its a retirement community where people don't have much interest in these sales. I found waiting a day or two after BF that the retailers, especially Walmart will mark down the BF prices by another half. Not joking, I made a killing last year. I actually felt kind of guilty afterwards. The stores had minimal traffic, I actually saw them mark down Samsung 50" Plasma's down to 499.00. I would have grabbed one, but my car was already full. I may bring a trailer this year LOL....:)

I wasn't saying the weight made it better. The case and screen are much better on the Iphone. Hold and use both and I'm sure you will agree.

I have the Iphone and my wife has the Itouch. If you have one in either hand, you'll see why people go with the Iphone. It just feels higher quality and truly is a better product.

The upgrade wasn't for itunes, it is a firmware update that removes the glitches that the first generation suffered from and it also extended battery life. You should look into it if you haven't yet.

You will have to pay 9.99 to upgrade via itunes to the 2.1 software. There is also no side volume on the first gen. I still got one and it is a good deal. For those who are wondering the iphone has a far better quality feel and more features; (camera, thicker nicer screen, and better wifi) so if your still on the wall go with the iphone.

There is one issue with this TV and that is the saying "you get what you pay for". I bought a 1080p View Sonic 42" a few years ago because it was deal. I have to say, although I have had no major issues the picture quality leaves something more to be desired. If your just looking for a cheap TV this is for you, but don't think for a second that your getting Samsung quality.

Don't expect any great deals in Liquidation sales, :no:except at the very end. The company hires, or is forced to hire (by the bankruptcy court) a liquidation company to move product out of its closing stores. The reason is because the court wants the stores to make as much profit as possible to pay creditors. This is relatively new, but was inacted because companies would simply blow out their inventories as quickly as possible with no regard to profit making. That's why now you'll see high end merchandise removed from the stores and broken items, returned items, and discontinued items brought in from other stores to be sold at high starting MSRP's with maybe 20%-40% taken off to make people think they are getting a good deal. It's all about psychology, you think a good deal because the sign says you are. Just remember to always bring a cellphone that has internet access to check prices before purchasing. I do this using Ebay and have talked myself out of alot deals, that weren't really deals.

The Magellan 4000 series GPS units are not that good. Theu are a highly returned item. Customer Service is horrible, you have to deal with people in India who's only job, god bless them, is to get you off the phone. Maps are two years out of date on the model above and it will cost 75.00 to update.

I wouldn't buy this one. Contrast Ratio 300:1 / 480x234, that's going to create pixelated and washed out photos. Just a note do not buy one of these unless it is at least 500:1 and 340x680.

They have had their Ridgid 5.5 hp 12 gallon shopvac for 26.00 for the last three years. I buy one every year and it is great for cleaning the car or wet messes in the house, a total life saver. Last year they even threw in an extra filter.

3000 now on Ebay, this may not be as big of a seller as people thought. They have only sold 154 over the last three weeks on Ebay with an average price of $78.00. If you bought more than one to possibly make a profit, keep your receipt.
